Tales From Warrenlake is a Monster of the Week Campaign thats being made into a podcast. It was created and is being produced by a group of highschool students In rural Alberta.

update April 2021

Hey guys, it's mod Florian here just giving a brief update on what's going on. Our game master is still working on art for you all to enjoy in the background but we are currently in a position where we have to wait for our living situations and life to line up properly to begin recording for all of you. Like I've explained in the past all of the members of the podcast live in different locations and with the current situation none of us can safely get together and multiple members of the podcast live in places of the podcast have unreliable internet connections which make recording our sessions online an unfeasible option. We are moving in the right direction to fix this issue and will hopefully be able to start recording soon, and we are all super excited to welcome you into the universe of Warrenlake, until that time comes we will continue to work on our characters in the background and hopefully be able to provide more art for you in the future.

Update

So it’s been a long time, there have been some pretty major developments that are affecting the production end of new episodes. To make a long story short and to keep personal details out of things; there were some personal disagreements and issues in the group. Now don't panic this doesn't mean the podcast has been canceled, but we have had to place it on hiatus while we both revamp the story and organize our new recording situation. Our team has shrunk we still have our wonderful game master, and of course, I'm still here but the only other remaining member of the original cast is Noah's player. We've added two new members to the team the player of Arlo and the player of Jake, as I get ref pictures for these new characters I will be adding them to the page. Now that we are out of the more personal part of this announcement, I thought I'd go into the more technical aspects that are holding us back from moving forward with this project. When we started this project the original team was all attending high school, through some work we managed to find a way to turn this project into something that was eligible for school credits, and so we could record our sessions during school hours of course our audio started out pretty rough (as anyone whos watched the first episode can attest to) but we eventually figured out a much better way to record with all of us in one spot... I'm sure you can see in part where this is going, with Covid, we obviously can't get together and while being able to get together in person would solve some of our issues they wouldn't solve all of them as we don't all live in the same place anymore our two newest team members don't live here(one of them lives in the states) and our game master has moved further away so regardless of covid restrictions we have been working on finding out the best way for us to record our audio and send the files to one person so they can be edited, ideally, we will be mostly in one place when we start recording again we are hoping to get at least three of us in one place for sessions though if things go well we will have four of us in one place for most sessions. Another resource we have lost after graduating is our editing software, through our school division we had a premium membership for the software we were using, so we are deciding exactly how we want to go about editing in the future whether we want to continue using the software we are already familiar with or try something new. Hopefully, it won't be as long between when I next provide an update and now as last time, but I do want you all t know we haven't given up on this and we are still working in the background and as a group, we are becoming more familiar with each other so that when we do finally get back into things we will be comfortable and able to give you the best quality storytelling we can. Exciting news

great news everyone I hope to have the first episode up within the next 24 hours I just have to run some transitions by some other members of the team and if we get the green light we will be posting our first ever episode of Tales From Warrenlake

exiting news everyone the first episode is just receiving its finishing touches and then it will be done though we have yet to come to a decision on if we will be releasing the episodes as they are completed or waiting until the whole first season is edited and then release them weekly either way it’ll be good to have this episode done.
