✨BAKING WITH KAMARIA✨

I saw another author do something similar and I wanted to share traditional recipes for the food that’s mentioned throughout Secrets of the Moon. While my novel is a re-imagined history, it is still based in real life Old Bohemia in the Czech Republic. Keeping that in mind, I did a ton of research into ensuring I portrayed the food, places and people correctly.

One of the first times in the novel that we see food mentioned is at the festival of Obzinky when Kamaria and Lahahana share a kolach. I’ve included a recipe for traditional kolach by a Czech baker and a short history of Obzinky in the newsletter listed in my linktree below! ✨
