The CW: Save Wayward Sisters
Strong women with complex, layered characters, not defined by men or shaped by them but with their own stories. What a fucking gift to television that would be. I canât think of a better group of women to bring that to life.Â
Please sign and share the petition above to show your support and help convince The CW to reconsider Wayward Sisters.
As someone that works in the industry this sort of thing can and has worked in the past so please sign and spread the word.

the Capaldi era
[on the subject of Big Finish âUnboundâ audio Exile] I think I made a lot of bad decisions on that. At the time I thought, 'I donât want to do the âtypicalâ thing, which is just to do a Doctor who is female and just does Doctor-y things. [âŠ] It was appalling, really. Iâm quite ashamed of it⊠It feels like it was from another era. I would never wish anyone to judge me on all those ill-made decisions. And itâs such a shame, is it not, that we didnât do a really good female Doctor who we could have written further adventures for, like we did with [fellow 'Unboundâ Doctor] David Warner. Iâve regretted that for quite some time.

What do you want to bet that the new Doctor will be some young hip unconventionally handsome dude, because the suits at BBC decided that Peter Capaldi wasnât hot and marketable enough for the female audience

Itâs just ridiculously disrespectful. The new Doctor will have their time in the spotlight in just a few months. This is a time when we should be celebrating Peterâs tenure as the Doctor and now itâs going to be overshadowed. Makes me so damn mad.
I am sad af. I wanted this to be about Team DW. I wanted to celebrate all of them. Except now every hoe tabloid/newspaper/magazine/forum/tweet/tumblr post⊠anything #DW will be about 13.Â
Because who ever cares/cared about what we just had.Â
Every frickin moment since 2014⊠âWill Peter leave after one series?â âWill Peter be replaced by a new Doctor soon?â âHere are 20 people who should replace Peter Capaldi as the Doctorâ âIt is now time for a female Doctorâ âDoctor Who ratings have fallen under Capaldiâs tenureâ âIs Steven Moffat out of touch?â âPeter Capaldi got served the worst writing of Doctor Who historyââŠÂ
LIKE WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK. DID YOU EVEN FUCKING WATCH HIM? DID YOU ACTUALLY WATCH HIM?
And now it has happened:
Anger isnât the word Iâll use to describe my feelings right now. Itâs just good old-fashioned RESENTMENT AGAINST ANYONE WHO NEVER GAVE PETER CAPALDI A DAMN CHANCE.
I am beyond sad. This was the last bit of time Peter & the rest of s10 had to bask in the glory of all their hard work & effort- and itâs being overshadowed by the announcement of the next Doctor. Wow, BBC, your timing fucking sucks! Talk about disrespectful! Itâs like you shoved Peter, et al, out the back door & ushered Chibnall & the rest through the front door. Tacky, to say the least. Though I have only been a fan for about 1 œ years, & Peter is my 1st Doctor, I feel like you couldnât wait to get rid of him. I love Doctor Who, & will always be a fan, but right now, Iâm a little less of a fan. đȘđȘ
It gets worse, the BBC are also advertising a job for Head of Franchise Marketing, Doctor Who this month. The BBC couldnât be f***ed with marketing when Peter was the DoctorâŠ..and blamed him for the flagging merchandise salesâŠ..and yet, we fans have been crying out for Series 9 and now 10 soundtracks
This fucking pisses me off⊠they didnât even bother promoting the last two series, thereâs so little Twelve merchandise, and frankly this S9 soundtrack business is getting ridiculous

I met Steven Moffat today
And I decided to thank him for Sherlock because my brother and I used to watch it together and it gave us so many good memories before he passed away. However, I broke down in tears while speaking to him and he grabbed my hand and told me it was OK and I was apologizing and he told me not to because that was my brother.
I told him I appreciated that scene where Sherlock and John are talking and John just says it is what it is. Because when you are grieving people often say the wrong thing to you and that scene just really meant something to me because it wasnât saying it was OK or that it was going to be OK. Moffat then said to me, âIt is what it is, and what it is, is shit.â He then told me to have a good time and make friends and that thereâs nothing wrong with that and my brother would want me to.
He was so kind to me and he was really my hero today. I am so grateful I got to meet him.
The Doctor is a hero who looks out for everyone, no matter what.Â
Doctor Who returns this Saturday at 9/8c on @bbcamerica and 7:20pm on @bbcone.Â
For Monday Motivation, this wonderful moment happened at the BFI & Radio Times TV Festival. A fan asked what were the Doctorâs feelings on cyberbullying and how he fights it. Steven Moffat answered first, apologizing that the fan was dealing with such an awful thing. When he passed the question over to Peter, we were given this amazing and profound speech.
I must sound like a broken record when I keep saying Iâll miss Peterâs Doctor, but I mean it every time. I love him dearly, but I love Peter more for the person that he is. The amount of love and care he has for everyone is so touching. He really is one of the most beautiful human beings on Earth! â„
