Would you ever want to leave New York?
No, not really. It would take something huge to get me out of this city.
Would you ever get a pet?
Maybe in the future. It wouldn’t be the best decision for right now, however. Rachel and I are too busy and away from the apartment for too long to take care of a pet.
@ Kurt
talktokurthummel:
Either that or which ones would be most likely to be arrested.
That too. It would certainly be eye-opening.
Do you ever go to any shows when you have a night or afternoon off?
I do sometimes. It’s hard since most shows are dark on Monday’s, but we do get the opportunity to see others from time to time.
@ Kurt
talktokurthummel:
Even if you do happen to be boring you can turn it around with special guests. You could play Cards Against Humanity with your cast mates or have the cast impersonate each other.
That’s true. Cards Against Humanity would show the internet community which of my cast mates are the craziest.

talktokurthummel said: It’s sad how quickly I can fall into the pit of behind the scenes videos on Broadway.com.
They’re all so compelling, they just have that ability to suck you in for hours. I’m afraid I would be too boring to host my own.
If you had to do a vlog about the behind the scenes life of a Broadway actor what would you call your vlog and what do you think it would be comprised of?
I would call it “This Year Blogging Saved my Life” and I think it would simply be a about what goes on backstage at the show, and how much fun we all have working on Broadway.

talktoblaineanderson:
Hey, have no fear my friend. If I know Rach, she’s got everything planned down to the last detail already for you both.
We’re mostly just excited to celebrate with everyone. I think it’s going to be fun.
That is true. Once a decision is made, I know she’ll make sure everything’s picture perfect for us.
I think so too. Should be a good opportunity to relax for a night and just have some fun.
@ Blaine
talktoblaineanderson:
Oh, definitely, man. Kurt and I will moderately judge anyone who shows up sans a costume.
Our costumes are sort of going to be a surprise on the night, but, think On the Town and you get the basic idea. We figured something a little vintage was always appropriate.
I definitely do not want to be judged by you two.
Oh okay, I can think of some great costumes from that film. Vintage always makes a good costume. I think we’re going to go the pop culture route this year.
@ Blaine
talktoblaineanderson:
Sounds good, man. I’ll talk to Kurt and see if we can’t work something out.
Oh, absolutely. It’s not a Halloween party without the costumes and Kurt and I are nothing if not dedicated to the cause. Kurt’s actually been putting the finishing touches on our outfits for this year.
Sounds good. I’ll have to starting thinking about good costumes. What are you and Kurt going as? Or is it a surprise?
@ Blaine
talktoblaineanderson:
Ah, the craziness of us Broadway hopeful.
Well listen, right now we’re helping my Mom find a place in New York, she’s making the big move from Lima to the city, but maybe if we’re all free one of these nights we can arrange dinner. Catch up with each others worlds a little, man.
Plus, Kurt and I are planning to host a little Halloween get together you know you and Rach are on the guest list for.
It seems like being a hopeful is busier and crazier than actually doing it.
Dinner would be wonderful. I think I might be the least hectic out of the bunch, so if you and Kurt and Rachel decide on a date that works, I’m sure I can find a way to make it fit for me too.
That also sounds really great. Is it a costumed event?
@ Blaine
talktoblaineanderson:
Well, I’d certainly like to think so, anyway. With the exception of a certain husband of mine, of course.
How’re things going with you and Rach? I’m guessing if she’s anything like Kurt, she’s beyond excited about the NYADA production. I know he’s been run off his feet with rehearsals and somehow I doubt Rach is faring much better, especially with the limited run she was doing for The Princess Bride.
You guys must see each other about as much as Kurt and I feel like we do of late.
He’s included too.
Things are good. If you and Kurt see each other rarely, then we’re in the same boat. Both sets of rehearsals for her, my rehearsals, her classes, we’re lucky to see each other for twenty minutes before we get to bed.
@ Blaine
talktoblaineanderson said: There’s nothing more important than hair maintenance. I approve of the product choice, St James.
Thanks, Anderson. I believe I’ve seen you answer a few questions about hair care as well. I’d say we’re two of the finer coiffed men in the city.
You have such great hair. What sort of product do you put in it?
Thank you very much! I use Nexus Pro-Mend daily shampoo and conditioner. If I let it grow and get curly, I also use Moroccan Oil Hydrating Styling Cream.
Describe your worst date?
It was my sophomore year in high school. We went to the movies, and I was grateful for that because we did not click at all, and I was happy to spend two hours not talking to her. Halfway through the movie, she needed to use the restroom, and when she stood up, she knocked over her weird fruit punch thing, staining my khaki shorts, which caused me to jump up and knock over my popcorn. Then we got thrown out for “causing a scene”.
