and they were tentmates
Such an underrated Achilles moment is him cutting off his hair to place in Patroclus' hands before lighting his funeral pyre. Like, listen listen listen, the main reason our boy grew his hair long at all is because his father promised it to the river-god Spercheus upon his safe return home. Please. Peleus promised to sacrifice his son's beautiful hair in exchange for his beautiful son's homecoming. And Achilles, fucking Achilles (beloved/beloathed), cuts it all off to give to Patroclus on his final journey, because he knows, he knows, the river-god won't fulfill his father's request. Because Achilles won't let him. Because in that moment, Achilles already knows he won't be coming home.
first rule of fandom is everything goes back to destiel
second rule of fandom is everything goes back to kirk/spock
third rule of fandom is everything goes back to holmes & watson
fourth rule of fandom is everything goes back to achilles & patroclus
In Iliad, Patroclus feed nine dogs, what probably means that one day, Patroclus spotted dog, whose owner had been killed by the Greeks, and he shared his lunch with it. Then there were two dogs. Three. And then Patroclus became known as "the guy who messes around with horses and dogs," because this bearded introvert prefers dogs and horses to people (which category Achilles belongs in, you decide for yourself)-

“Tumblr age verification will not be needed,” tumblr staff stated upon confirming every single blog on the site is more than 10 years old.
“If you were literate enough to be posting about Johnlock in 2015 we can kind of just assume you’re good,” staff elaborated even though we did not ask them to.
Ya know... I don't need to be called old by this hellsite
We all do, buddy. We all do
I've been saying the people who act like shit to others for ship would never last in 2010
in the cambrian period the ocean was shallow and the sun never set. every day was sunday morning and there was never any dark. the world was a watery wonderland and air didnt exist yet. animals had just invented eating eachh other and it was really funny. having eyeballs was all the rage

theres been a lot of people on this post trying to correct basically every aspect of what ive said but nobody's confronted me on "everyday was sunday morning"
