Normally Blair would rely on shops for the herbs he’d use in witchcraft, but he couldn’t find those kinds of shops around Louisiana. He knew there had to be places of that nature around the place, but he didn’t want to awkwardly ask anyone for directions.
The witch took it upon himself to search the woods instead. He knew there should be some of the herbs and flowers he needed there, if not he might find something else he never thought to use. So far, he found nothing he was familiar with. It all might’ve been something that was strictly aesthetic, but he collected some flowers to test later.
Continuing onward led to finding an old treehouse. The witch paused, somehow not feeling alone here. He cautiously walked closer to the tree, keeping some distance. He felt odd calling out to see if anyone was there, but if he wasn’t indeed alone, it wouldn’t be so ridiculous.
He called reluctantly, still looking up towards the treehouse.
Indeed Tallulah had believed she’d been alone, until now. Her record player had been on, playing the same old songs over and over all morning, while she currently had been making some herbal tea. Her treehouse had been cozy on the inside but rickety and abandoned from the outside, it made for good camouflage. The teal haired woman didn’t know whom lingered the forests- regular humans, wolves, perhaps even the worst– witch hunters. Though one day she’d wished she’d meet another witch, perhaps even a male one. Only time and future will tell.
With instincts and distinct hearing, somehow, someway the woman heard a faint voice coming from the house of her HOME. It was male too, making her all giddy inside. “Don’t give your hopes up, it’s not prince charming” she thought.
Tallulah waved her hand to turn down the volume in the player from across the room before trailing towards the door. Opening the door with cold fingers, her bare feet making their way out her door, across planks and over top of a ledge to peer down. There was indeed a visitor, nobody she’d ever seen before. As she exclaimed, her voice was crackly, all nervous like.
