My mom's #buñuelos are the best! A buñuelo is a mexican thin pastry, fried, and sweetened with molasses, flavored with anise. Perfect for a cold rainy night like tonight. I only wish she would make them more often!

We spent the day doing garden work, and I found this cute little friend! He had bright blue spots and a black body. No idea what kind of #caterpillar it is. We took it outside so that the cats cant find it, but I asked I asked it to come back visit me when it becomes a #butterfly.

One of my favorite meals, both to #cook and to eat: rice with #roasted zucchini, with a drop of olive oil, pepper, and fine herbs. Super delicious, full of flavor, #light and #vegan.

How I take a nap. Today my hubby took this photo of me, I was taking a short nap on the couch and Freddie, Zuko and Lili joined me. That's me under the blanket, surrounded by my babies. Cat's love is awesome.

#Breakfast routine: a #cat trying to steal my #food. I couldn't help but squeal at how cute Freddie looked this morning, trying to steal my #vegan #cake from across the table.

Last night's dinner experiment: #vegan #coriander #pesto. I've had this recipe in mind for months, last weekend my husband bought me a blender and I could finally try it! It was delicious, I can't wait to try it again.

It has been #raining all day and we haven't seen the sun since yesterday. Somehow, that made me crave the colors and flavors of fresh veggies and fruits.
