Bandai Namco Announces Tamagotchi Collectibles 30th Limited Edition Volume 1

30th anniversary merchandise is coming! Bandai Namco has just announced Tamagotchi Collectibles 30th Limited Edition Volume 1. Featuring Mametchi, Pochitchi, Furawatchi, Kuromametchi, Lovelitchi, and Melodytchi in Tamagotchi Original shells that are glittery, along with a sparkly sticker, and a 30th charm attached to the keychain!

Priced at ¥880 including tax. Available for pre-sale in Japan at the Tamagotchi Exhibit at Tokyo Station’s Ichiban Plaza on Friday, May 1st, 2026, with a general release in Japan of Saturday, July 11th, 2026.

The US release will first drop at the 2026 San Diego Comic-Con (Thursday, July 23rd, 2026 - Sunday, July 26th, 2026) and they’ll hit Barnes and Noble stores in late July, 2026.

Shinshitchi und Desaster

Ich habe Shinshitchi bekommen! Ich habe bisher auf dem iDL noch nie gezielt gespielt und habe ihn zum ersten Mal groß gezogen. Doch als ich am nächsten morgen, aufgeregt seine weiteren Favoriten zu finden, das Tama anschalte... Passiert nichts. Der Screen ist schwarz.

I got Shinshitchi! I've never aimed for a specific Tama on my iDL before and I finally raised him. I was excited to explore his favourite foods the next morning, but even when I pressed the button... Nothing happened. The screen stayed black.

Also habe ich natürlich ein bisschen Panik geschoben. Ich teste andere Batterien, und als das auch nichts bringt schraube ich es auseinander, um das Innere zu säubern. Es funktioniert eine Sekunde lang und wird dann komplett weiß. Ich werde es, wenn ich wieder Zeit habe, noch Mal anderes säubern. Falls das auch nicht hilft, muss ich mein Tamagotchi wohl zur Elektronikreparatur bringen.

So naturally, I panicked a bit. I tested different batteries and then took it apart, when that didn't help, to clean the inside. It worked for a second, before turning to a white screen. I'll try cleaning it again, once I have time. If that doesn't help, I'll have to get a professional to fix it.

Ein blaues, nervös guckendes Baby... Wer könnte das zukünftig werden? Die pinke Ratte, die so aussieht als ob sie dir etwas hinter dem Bahnhof verkaufen würde... Blau, nervös und zwielichtig... A blue, nervous baby, a shady Rat, that looks like it wants to sell me something at a street corner... That's our perfect match.

Ist es leider nicht ganz geworden, sieht nicht so aus, als ob er mir was verkaufen will. It looks like they aren't selling anything, I miscalculated.

Ich werde mir ein Ratchi Universum anlegen.
