Eve-of-Halloween and I collabed and sent these two to Clamperl Cove. There, Vance showed Jacquelien a trick with honey and it ended up attracting some pokemon both of them would be taking home, a pikipek and a cutiefly! Clamperl Cove - Trail 4 -- Exeggutor Escapade

Verdant Fortune - Staring into the void comic

Clover spends a late night in the town library and suddenly gets interrupted by a mysterious mischievous pokemon.

The first image scene came to my mind today on walk and had to send everyone in Victory Spirit team to the indeteminate dungeons. They decided to split up when realizing each of them have weaknesses but also strengths in different dungeons. Will one of them fail? Will all of them win or fail? Let's see.

Team Lovestruck! | Dark woods exploration 1-3 & March Job Board: Save Smaug Took the job board opportunity to send Team Lovestruck! to the darkwoods and get that done (or at least try to. RNG be kind). Cotton, wanting to help a fellow buneary, drags Napoleon to look for Smaug. The buizel is not enthusiastic but looks like the dragon found him.

Yep, joined a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Group with some familiar faces. Their main app is on Drive for easier editing but under here you can find their info for enjoyment.

Group is called Pokemon Mystery Dungeon New Dawn, which you can find in DA. I'm personally active in their discord.

NAME: Veruka

Species: Chimchar

Nature: Serious

Characteristic: Hates to lose

Ability: Blaze 

Moveset:

Flame Wheel | Strong move that also raises Veruka’s speed

Acrobatics | Veruka is quite nimble and moves quickly with this move

Fire Spin | A weak but reliable move to trap enemies

Shadow Claw | A move she inherited from her dad. Strong move she can’t control fully

Personality:

Veruka is a proud and hardworking chimchar. And far more likely to keep her paws on the ground unlike her partner who has his head in the clouds. She lets Vincent be the leader of the team thanks to Vincent’s social skills but truthfully, she is the more serious one.

Veruka follows strict rules and discipline. She prefers to do things by the book and tries to stay level headed in all situations. But deep down she has insecurities she tries to hide. Veruka hates failing and easily blames herself. Not being able to properly control her Shadow Claw move is a big hit on her confidence.

Thankfully Vincent's carefree nature makes her feel a bit better and relax a bit. She cares about him a lot and looks after him.

History:

Veruka grew up in strict care of adoptive parents and their community. The Charizard and Meganium had promised Veruka’s parents to look after the chimchar until they’d come back. What the Charizard told Veruka, her parents had gone to help seal the rifts.

Years went by and they never came back. The only thing Veruka had from her parents was the gold collar from her mom. And Shadow Claw move, inherited from her dad. Both constant reminders she didn’t really know anything about her parents. And to make things worse, she had issues using and controlling her Shadow Claw move. No one in the community could help her master it. 

Veruka grew tired of not being able to do anything and having no answers. The Chimchar said goodbyes to her adoptive parents and community and went to search for her parents. Find answers.

On her travels, she ran into a scared riolu in a dark cave…

NAME: Vincent

Species: Riolu

Nature: Quirky

Characteristic: Highly Curious

Gender: Male             

Age: Young Adult/19

Ability: Prankster 

Moveset:

Force Palm | Strong punch with a shock wave. He may be small but packs a punch.

Quick Attack | Weak move but useful to quickly grab something or finish off an opponent.

Detect | Vincent can sense moves coming and successfully dodge or block them.

Copycat | A wild card move. Vincent can copy anyone’s move. Doesn’t mean he can use it well.

Personality:

Vincent bubbles with excitement and is always happy to meet any new pokemon. He has a huge confidence about his abilities and he is the leader of the team. Vincent has a strong sense of justice and wants to help anyone in need. The riolu has a big heart. His brains… Well… Lucky for him, Veruka is there to look after him when things backfire. And that happens... Quite often.

Thankfully it's hard to bring this riolu's mood down. His contagious cheerful personality and positivity charms most pokemon. He admired Veruka and is doing his best to impress her. 

History:

Vincent grew up hearing stories about all the brave pokemon who went on adventures to help those in need and seal the rifts in the world. Those Paragon guys, such heroes! Vincent wanted to be one too! He grew up playing with hero toys and imitating them. 

Once the riolu was old enough, he left his small home town behind and left to seek adventure and join the Paragon faction. Just like so many of the heroes he admired. The reality hit him hard. Living in the safety of a small town had not fully prepared the young riolu properly to the harshness of the world. And eventually, he was lost. Vincent was scared, fear of darkness became one of his weaknesses. But lucky for the pup, a light pierced the darkness. The light came from a chimchar named Veruka. She promised to help him out of the dark cave and so they started to travel together. During this, Vincent came to admire Veruka’s bravery and fighting skills and in the end convinced her to continue traveling with him.

Vincent told Veruka he was going to Wander Haven to join the Paragon Faction. Veruka pondered for a moment and agreed to come with the riolu. The city and Paragon Faction were her best bet to get new leads on finding her parents.

Together they traveled to Wander Haven and joined Paragon Faction. ______________________________________________________________

Species: Croagunk

Nature: Relaxed

Characteristic: Loves to eat

Gender: Male             

Age: Young Adult/20

Ability: Poison Touch

Personality:

On the surface Rupert is a very relaxed and carefree pokemon. He rarely loses his cool, as long as he’s eaten enough sugar. The poison frog has an insane sweet tooth and he gets restless if he’s not eaten anything sugary in a while. 

While Rupert has a bit creepy and mean look, due to his species, he’s actually quite mellow and easy to get along with (as long as he’s eaten). He dislikes fighting and tolerates being pushed around to avoid brawls. But when it comes down to it, he’s a skilful albeit a bit dirty fighter. Survival was always his priority, not sportsmanship. 

Rupert is learning to relax with his new team and discover what it’s like to have pokemon that actually care about you in your life. 

History:

As long as Rupert can remember, he’s been part of Gero Gero Gang, a troublesome bunch consisting of frog pokemon. Their leader, an Alpha Poliwrath, used his smaller frog underlings to cause small-scale crime, mainly stealing food for his never ending appetite. The underlings were only allowed to eat when he had eaten. This caused Rupert’s obsession with food, especially sweet treats. He hated giving up the food he had worked so hard to collect to his boss. He wanted out. But leaving wasn’t easy. He wasn’t brave enough to challenge his boss. And where would he even go? This gang was the only “family” he had ever had.

Then one day, when snagging a Sweet Honey bottle from a Riolu, Rupert got caught and was ready to spend another night in jail. But to his surprise, the two pokemon gave him a choice to join their explorer team. Seeing an opportunity to escape his old life, Rupert took it.

He just hopes his old comrades won’t miss him.

I said to myself I wouldn't do comics. But an idea struck and I figured out a way to do comics pretty fast and make it enjoyable. So more comics in the future, maybe?

Napoleon and Cotton do their faction tryouts and Mirror the ditto pushes the alpha buizel's buttons. Good thing Cotton stands her grounds.

And look at that, a new team with some old faces. Yep, Team Lovestruck (Napoleon regrets letting Cotton choose the name) is here and they are a rival but also companion team to Victory Spirit. They'll be featured often together.

Personality:

Napoleon is a tough guy who doesn’t like getting bossed around. He enjoys proving his point and skills through battling and is a mighty force to be reckoned with. Unfortunately, his short temper can be his downfall.

Napoleon doesn’t have the best social skills and often says what’s on his mind, not caring if he offends others or not. He’s also prone to taunting his foes. His fuse, as mentioned earlier, is short. 

Still, if he does form a bond with someone, he will fight for them till the bitter end. Deep down he has a tender and calmer side that only seems to come out when he’s alone with Cotton.

History:

Napoleon was born into a huge family of a Floatzel mother and Typhlosion father. Napleone, being born alpha like his father, was the biggest of the pack. The young buizel made use of his size and easily proved his strength against his siblings. He was soon sparing against his father, who wanted to teach his son a lesson. Despite Napoleon’s best efforts, he couldn’t beat his father. Annoyed at losing to his old man and a fire type, Napoleon left home to train and become even stronger. On his travels he fought many pokemon without a single loss. Growing arrogant and challenging about anyone who was unfortunate enough to cross paths with him. Eventually he crossed paths with a particular chimchar… And lost badly. 

Annoyed at losing to yet another fire type, Napoleon swore to become stronger and beat the chimchar someday.

Following the Chimchar’s path, Buizel ended up saving a shiny Buneary, who would stick to him like cotton candy ever since.

Personality:

Cotton is a peppy little bunny full of energy. You can always count on her to make any moment fun and cheer you up if you’re feeling down, even if you don’t want her to. The term “personal bubble” is not familiar to her. She means no harm with her efforts but can get upset if she’s being ignored.

Despite her cute looks, thanks to Napoleon training her, she can pack a wallop! She treats fights as friendly spars and is a much better winner and loser than her partner. But if you insult or worse, hurt Napoleon or her friends, Cotton will show her nasty side.

Cotton adores anything cute and pink, daydreams a lot and believes in love at first sight- That’s what happened with Napoleon.

History:

Cotton grew up in a humble setting. Only child to lovely parents. They grew up in the countryside and lived a simple but humble life. Perfect for a young girl to daydream about adventures and handsome princes who would one day come and sweep her off her feet.

One day, Cotton was tasked by her parents to deliver some goods to the Wander Haven. The shiny Buneary agreed and prepared for her long trip.

On her way to the town, Cotton ended up getting ambushed by an aggressive Murkrow. When she thought she’d get hurt, someone swooped in and defeated the bird and it flew away. Now Cotton was able to lay her eyes on her helper and it was love at first sight. Her savior was a tall handsome Buizel who introduced himself as Napoleon. Cotton insisted on sticking by his side as they both were heading towards Wander Haven. Napoleon agreed, hesitantly. 

And so together they traveled to Wander Haven, where Napoleon found out that his rival Chimchar had joined the Paragon Faction. To grow stronger and out of spite, Napoleon and Cotton joined the Renegade faction.
