The Dabney (I went there for my brother’s birthday)
So in January for my brothers birthday dinner we went to a Michelin star restaurant and it was called the Dabney. It was fabulous because…
One reason why it is very good is that...
Well, do you like vegan stuff? I don’t as a kid...usually. But guess what? I could eat these yummy carrots all day!
It was kind of like a snack which was very cool. So what the carrots had was very well done was whipped ricotta but to be honest I think that they should add more ricotta. There was only two little scoops. They also added crunchy chiles which gave it a little kick. And my favorite thing about is was the glazed honey. It was absolutely perfect so that is maybe why they got a Michelin star.
Then the next thing which inspired me so much was the sugar toad and I am pretty sure that is what they are known for. What I liked about it, was that it was crispy, delicate and the flavor was perfect in every single way. Plus it came with a very pretty plate of delicate vegan stuff. If you take a peek at our (Washington D.C.) very best restaurant list in 2019 you will find the Dabny is in second place and all the pictures are about the sugar toads.
And lastly, the best course was huge with meat, mash potato and winter greens with grilled onions and horseradish sauce so we will start with the mash potato. I normally hate mashed potatoes but this one was so creamy and the flavor was good plus it was kind of like wood cream cause they whipped it so much now the winter greens were juicy and it had this very fresh flavor now the sauce was on the meat and it was very tender and juicy because the sauce soaked into the the meat and it gave it a soft chewy tasty and that is for family size and it might not be there all the time because they switch up the menu all the time .
