And that we don't have to wait 4 - 6 years or so for it to air #But even so I'm already thankful for the fact that the anime event exists qvq #ANYWAY I've just gotten started on my Olruggio illustration so hopefully I'll have new art soon !!#Until then hope you don't mind seeing the girlies again :)#Also fun fact I drew these illustrations in the order of Coco - Agott - Richeh - Tetia #And Coco was drawn back in 2019 (!!!) which you can kinda tell haha #It's fun to see the subtle ways in which my art has changed! Esp in my use of color #Can't wait to see all finished illustration compiled together once I finish Ollie!

#wha #witch hat atelier #tongari boushi no atelier #tetia #dropping this one day before the anime starts airing I'm so fREAKING EXCITED RAAHHHHHH #Ahum- hello everyone long time no see :) I was fueled by my hype for the anime to finish my illustration set of the WHA girls #I'll probably make a post with all four of them together sometime soon!#And ofc we gotta add an Olruggio to match my Qifrey piece so hopefully I can get to that sometime this year too #Anyway I love Tetia very much and really wanted to show the warmth and kindness of her spells #I really like how the colors and energy of this drawing came out! Very fitting for Tetia I think #I'll be back (probably) tomorrow to yell about the first WHA ep so see ya then :)#enjoy !!

A more personal piece about holding on to the things we love as we grow up, even if the world tells you that adults "shouldn't like this kinda stuff anymore". I don't see how I can't both have a boring office job AND be a big nerd :)

Last year I documented a month of my life as I set my first steps towards getting an autism diagnosis at the age of 28. I drew one page every day for 30 days and turned it into a comic style zine! Since life is unpredictable, this zine is a rollercoaster from start to finish... but it was also very, very therapeutic and in a sense even healing for me to draw :')

#maomao #apothecary diaries #kusuriya no hitorigoto #hello everyone today I bring you my 4th illustration of the month!! WILD #I've been wanting to make a print of Maomao for aaaages and I'm so glad I finally did it #It took a while to get settled on a concept that I really liked but once I did I drew like a mad man hahaha #I absolutely love Apothecary Diaries and Maomao is my favorite character from the show which means every episode is a win #As a big nature/plant nerd myself seeing someone unapologetically nerd about traditional medicine is pure joy #I also really like the mystery / detective aspect of the story and find myself really invested in many of the characters #Long story short I love this anime I love Maomao I loved drawing her and I cannot recommend the show enough !!#I hope my love for the show and character shows in the drawing !!#My concept for this was Maomao's determination to remain herself even when surrounded by the imperial court #Never getting swayed by riches and big promises but following her head and heart in every decision she makes #The flowers are wood sorrel which represent Maomao in the anime and the background is inspired by the first season's OP #The outfit is ofc from the garden party which is my favorite of her outfits asides from her regular fit #I think the colors are very lovely and knew I would have fun painting it #So yeah that's some rambles about the drawing !! Hope you folks like it :)

~2 hour coloring practice, tried focusing on values first and adding hues and detail later. It was a lot messier than how I usually work but also very fun and a lot faster!
