this post is going to be long, so bear with me but this is my thoughts on the movie!
Overall, this movie was amazing, and I'd give everything to see it again; it's an adaptation that's faithful to the original material while still adding onto it in a way that just makes it better!
The model and set were amazing, especially because it feels like you're stuck in the sub with mark throughout the movie, i don't plan to spoil much incase others haven't been able to see it, but just know if you have claustrophobia, thalassophobia, or hemophobia that you might triggered!
I don't have photos I can post but oh my god, frogs design in the movie is gorgeous in such a grotesque and haunting way, such as the rest of the movie, it is so beautiful in such a horrifying way that it makes me tear up.
also, there are religious themes in the movie that I somehow didn't catch onto easily ...
