Loss
I always thought the worst type of loss happens suddenly and completely. But that was before I knew that, loss could be felt this slowly, longingly, begrudgingly, and confusingly, all at the same time.
This is a wholly different type of loss.
An excruciating fracture to the soul, that leisurely sears every cell in your body, one by one, burnt perfectly, all in its own damn time.
“I’ll sing without you, I’ll sing without you, can’t feel feel my pain? There’s nothing I can do.”
this one really gets me bestie

I know when we see each other again, I will look at you as if you were my whole world and you would look at me as if you never knew me.

“We all eat lies when our hearts are hungry.”

“The most important thing to realize is that we have no power over other people, events or even outcomes. But we absolutely have power over how we treat and talk to ourselves - which includes what we allow into our space.”
