WarriorMonk! AU

Hey! It’s been awhile touching my toes in the lego Monkie kid fandom again since I was mostly focusing on my comic stuff but I’ve transferred those things onto my other account! Still trying to upload all my things on there so it’s kinda empty for now but oh well we’ll see!

Anyhow, I’ll be focusing on casual Journey to the West, Black Myth Wukong, LMK and my oc stuff for those fandoms and some others if it may be :)

ANYWAYS BORING STUFF ASIDE

I made an AU called WarriorMonk!Au and this is an AU specifically for Tang!! The basic premise is just Tang as he normally is but he used to train as a Warrior Monk/Shaolin Monk when he was younger. I’ve thought of this AU for a while as just a fun one off thing but I kinda liked the idea more than I thought so I thought to draw some ideas out!

(this is his old uniform when he was still training!! The red uniform indicated his seniority and close achievement to being a Master!)

He’s more of a side character if anything but he’s an herbalist assistant!! Still under Guanyin’s watch so technicality he’s still their disciple/student!!

I like to envision him wayyyyy different than the other versions of Hong Hai-er, honestly he looks a little too different but hey it’s unique!!

Concept reference for Si-yun!!

I imagine he wears more dull colors and very straight but big and loose pants. I would draw the red beads more wrapped around his waist and add more jewelry but I don’t want it to be overly complicated (= =;;;)

Most of Si-yun’s clothes were hand me downs that he altered to fit himself. Due to his family not really supporting or caring for him after their mom passed away. Not only that but also being the only one in the family to not have powers. No powers means you’re useless to society. Things won’t be easier just because you don’t carry something that everyone has, if anything it makes it harder. But I’ll save the Si-Yun rant for another time :)
