Thinking about how Ryoshu’s unrestrained, blind malice towards who she perceived as her abuser (Shiomi Yoru) was actually directed towards a child (HER OWN child, to be more specific) who did nothing wrong. Ryoshu is doing exactly what the original Dihui Star did to her to another child to whom she attributes the source of her suffering. This, subtly, further explores how Shiomi Yoru felt about the child she was forced to raise. Through the cross-examination of these repeated cycles we can better understand the positions of those within them.
