Little things you can do to upgrade your life
Sit up straight
Walk confidently
Speak slowly and don’t use slang, incorporate new vocabulary.
Think before you speak. Is that TMI? Is that negative? Words are powerful, use them wisely
When someone gives you a compliment, always accept it with a “thank you” even if you disagree
Compliment strangers
Drink a cup of warm water when you wake. It has the same effect as lemon water but it’s better for your teeth
Aim to drink 2L of water a day.
If you drink 30 min before your meal you will eat less. Don’t drink any liquids while you eat or until 30 min after your meal, it’s better for your digestion
Want a flat stomach? Don’t eat anything 4 hours before bed and only eat the size of your fist in carbs per day
Practice mindfulness, notice when your mind wanders and bring your attention back to the present
Meditate 5 min every morning or in bed at night
Charge your phone in the living room at night so you’re not tempted to look at it before bed or first thing in the morning. Plus, you’ll have to get up to turn the alarm off so you won’t snooze
Make your bed every morning
Clutter is mentally toxic, keep only what you need and keep it tidy
Aim to only clean your home for 5 minutes a day. You’ll probably end up doing more. This trick works for anything you don’t want to do
When shopping, don’t buy things the same day. If you still want them after a few days, go back
Always do your best. Always
Forget motivation. Count from 5 to 1 if you need to do something you don’t want to. It tricks your brain. You can also focus on how you’ll feel once you’ve completed the task instead of thinking of the task itself.
Buy fresh flowers for your home.
Pamper yourself. You can do it yourself at home
Get massages. You can get Groupons
Always have manicured nails and toes. Sèche Vite top coat is a must!
Buy nice pyjamas and lounge wear. Look good for yourself.
Listen to classical music when you study and when you clean your home
Listen to music when you drive. While others will be road raging, you’ll be too busy vibing to notice
Use the 50/30/20 rule for your finances. 50% on living expenses, 30% on entertainment and shopping and 20% in savings
Take advantage of banks offering money to open new accounts
Have an emergency fund: 3-6 months worth of living expenses in a high interest savings account
Celebrate every time you get money whether it’s in interest, pay checks or even money you find on the floor. You can just do a little dance. You’ll attract more wealth.
Leave money around your house. It will be a reminder that money is abundant.
Watch only 1h of TV a day and no reality TV
Don’t read gossip magazines/blogs.
Get a library card and read at least one book a month.
Cut out toxic people. If you can’t, try not to be around them as much
Socialize with loved ones a bit everyday even if it’s just a phone call. It’s good for morale
Treat everyone with respect. If someone disrespects you, know that it’s got nothing to do with you and everything to do with them and don’t get caught up in it, keep your composure, you’re better than that
Take up a hobby or two, you’ll be a more interesting, well-rounded person
Listen to podcasts
Try only changing one thing at a time. 3 months of consistency doesn’t mean you’re out of the woods, but it’s the foundation. Don’t be too hard on yourself when you stray. Habits you’ve had for 20-30-40 years will not be easy to change. Baby steps ;)
What would you add to a formal outfit to glam it up a tad more? 💓
Hello! Sorry this has taken so long for me to answer but here are my thoughts...
Usually, when wearing anything formal, the easiest and quickest thing I do to make the outfit more interesting is add some statement earrings... my first choice usually being a pair of double pearl Dior-esque earrings but anything with a bit of flash or sparkle will do the trick, like gemstone earrings... anything that has a bit of movement and catches the light... if you’re not a fan of wearing earrings or don’t have pierced ears, a sparkly barrette / hair clip can do the trick too, I feel!
Silk scarfs... I go on about so much but they can really easily elevate any outfit to become more formal and give a bit of glamour, you can also use them to add some vibrant colour to an outfit that may have to be more neutral... for example, a bright colour scarf tied around a bag handle or wrapped around a low bun. I own a hell of a lot of black and grey clothing so I have always been attracted to purchasing really colourful silk scarfs in a favourite shade to perk up a ‘go to’ outfit with a bit of brightness! If you own any square scarfs that are on the bigger side, they work great folded in half to create a triangle shape and loosely tied over your everyday black or brown or grey or navy going-to-work coat! Especially gorgeous if they have a busy and interesting pattern to show off on your back, this is much nicer than wearing them bunched up around the neck in a normal scarf style...
Brooches are another wonderful thing, the most under-appreciated item of the jewellery world in these modern times, I think... but I do hope they make more of a comeback than the odd Chanel brooch making an appearance on someone... I have come across so many stunning vintage brooches both at markets and online and rather affordable too as I do believe compared to vintage necklaces or rings etc they’re a harder sell... can really liven up a deep coloured velvety blazer or to keep your pussy-bow blouse tied in just the right place with the addition of a small sparkling brooch!
Other small considerations to think about are...
See if you can match your belt to your jewellery preference, as in if you wear mainly gold or silver, take care to consider this when picking out a belt and it’s metal colour!
If you’re into your jewellery and have the odd pendant or charm from a charm bracelet that you absolutely adore, perhaps it’s a good luck charm or something inherited, maybe it’s just a gemstone you love... consider taking it off of its necklace chain or bracelet and thread it through a thick glossy length of ribbon, I have always done this with a shiny black ribbon as it ‘showcases’ any sparkling or gold charm the best, and make sure it’s long enough to tie in a secure knot and then bow at the back of your neck. This is a wonderful way to enjoy you favourite pendant in a more eye-catching way to just having it dangling on a necklace as you’ll be wearing it as a choker so it’ll sit in the middle of your neck. A simple way to add a bit of glamour to any formal outfit, In my opinion! Adds a vintage touch! Plus, if your necklace length doesn’t work with the neckline you plan to wear, this is another option to wear the pendant. Works especially well with anything off-shoulder or a sweetheart neckline...
Those are my main thoughts, hope this helps a little!
waking up early so you don’t need to rush to get ready is a form of self-care.

I’m currently in the process of rebranding my entire life. What you see right now is nothing compared to the life that I am getting ready to manifest.
YUP and I will be officially starting this monday as it is the great conjunction ✨

Manifestation board: success and vitality
My skin, hair, and nails are amazingly smooth, shiny, and glamorous. I am a naturally alluring woman. People compliment me on a daily basis, and always offer to help sustain my upkeep.
I am effortlessly gorgeous, with a closet full of comfortable and eye catching clothing to keep me well dressed and put together at all times.
I am a kept woman to several wonderful men. They buy me diamonds, jewelry, and more from my favorite companies. Tiffany and Co, Cartier, and Swarovski all are adorned on my neck, ears, and rings. I am treated to luxurious dinners, massages, theater, spa days, and expensive makeup whenever I please. I am always treated well, and men absolutely love to exquisitely gift me.
They help finance my career long term. I've been purchased a beautiful luxurious condo with a view overlooking the entire city skyline, and it helps fill me with love, hope and inspiration. My laptop I've been gifted runs my music, screenplay websites, and video streams perfectly. Because of this newfound peace, I create with full ease, always.
I am neat from my head to my feet, with my nails always looking beautiful and my skin having a natural, healthy glow to it. I eat fresh fruits every day and can afford to be treated to luxury gourmet experiences, because my men love to spoil me with an additional allowance as well.
My networking skills and connections are tight with me, my financial situation only blesses upwards due to my career of choice lifting off into successful ventures, and I naturally attract tons of wonderful opportunities due to my lifestyle and the advice that I give.
I am at peace in my life, and feel safe and secure in this warming and blessed lifestyle. God bless and amen, thank you.
A Bit Conceited
No one needs to know. Just do your thing and be content.
taking this so seriously, I don’t need anyone in my business in 2021
