I have been doodling these swirls for FOREVER. It’s different from coloring and painting. It literally slows the swirls in my brain 🧠 down and it calms me. I have been obsessed with then lately. Once I start one of these small pieces of paper, I can’t stop. I dear you to try it. 🌀 I have always been scared to take them to the next level. We have a tradition around these parts. (read in western accent) We plant a tree at our home when big things happen. Tammy and I both have one from college graduation👩🏻‍🎓.They’re 10 years old now and have grown beautifully. My parents planted a peach🍑 and pear🍐tree when we got married and moved out. Not to celebrate us leaving (cough cough), but to watch the trees grow🌳and bear fruit, while we do the same in our lives. Jason wanted to continue the tradition and to share it with Cameron. To celebrate making my childhood home our new home.🏡👨‍👩‍👧 So meet Cameron’s dwarf romeo cherry🍒 tree. Jason put in a lot of work to plant it here (I’m sure you’ve seen in his stories if you follow him) And taught Cam about roots and how plants grow🌱. And how, “no, most likely we will not get cherries this year, Cameron..” but boy will it be so satisfying when we do! Thanks mom and dad for starting the tradition. Thanks Jason for reminding me that we are planting roots.
