Banana/Plantain Pancakes 💜

Recipe takes about 30 minutes altogether …15 to prep and 15 to cook. Can take much longer if you’re dancing and cooking like myself.

Serving size about 3.5 large pancakes

2 servings or 1 if you’re a lone wolf.

Ingredients

1 whole plantain

Half of a banana

1/4 cup plant based milk, (add small increments if need be to blend batter)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 table spoon agave

1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

Cooking oil for pan (I used olive oil but any plant based oil will work)

Cooking and Prep

Start by cutting plantain. I cut my plantain into about 5 pieces and then cut each piece in half. I did the same with the banana half, so that it all fit in the blender. (You can also use a food processor) Add in remaining ingredients and blend until smooth.

Once batter is complete. Heat pan at about medium heat. Add oil of choice and allow to heat. Once heated add batter. Allow each side to cook for about 5 minutes or until browned. (Now if you’re a fan of the crispy part of a pancake like me ughhh this recipe is life, all over crisp!)

After flipping and cooking both sides place on plate or paper towel. I do paper towel to catch some of the oil. Garnish with your favorite fruits and toppings and BOOM! ☺️ enjoy.

Lentil Lasagna

Cook time 1 hour (about)

Because there are layers to this…

Ingredients needed

One white carrot

1 cup lentils

Water ( to cover lentils) should be half inch but add water if needed or drain if too much

Water to cover carrots (will need to drain)

1.5 cup sauce of choice (I use store bought from Aldi, but you can use a homemade batch, do what sets you free)

Basil

Nutritional yeast

1 tbsp Garlic powder

1 tsp Chili powder

1tbsp Paprika

1tsp Sea salt

8oz Kite Hill ricotta

9oz Daiya Mozarella

Preparation

Bring two pots to boil adding salt to each

While water heats thinly sliced white carrot (this is going to serve as your lasagna noodle)

Once boiling pour one cup of lentils in one pot and place carrot slices in the other

Allow lentils to cook until soft (about 10 minutes)

Check on carrot slices (carrot slices shoild be soft but not mushy) pierce with fork to determine…I personally eye them lol so my guess is about 10 to 15 minutes for this

Once both carrots and lentils are soft

Add red sauce, garlic, basil (fresh or dried), nutritional yeast, sea salt (to taste), paprika and chili powder, mix together folding not stirring to maintain the consistency of the lentils, if lentils aren’t quite soft, they will cook longer in the oven

Speaking of the oven set it too 400

Assembly

I used a 6x6 glass pan, coat the bottom of the pan with lentil sauce

Place a layer of mozzarella

Cover with white carrot (“noodles”) I sliced mine in half to fit my pan and cover the lentil sauce, interchanging the slices to shape the bowl

Now for the ricotta! Spread the ricotta across the carrot noodles being careful not to push to hard moving the noodles.

Once again add another layer of lentil sauce

Then another layer of mozarella

Then your carrot slices

Followed by ricotta

And again lol a layer of lentil sauce

And FINALLY top with mozzarella and sprinkle nutritional yeast and basil on top for garnish because it’s pretty and BOOM

Place in the oven. Cook until cheese melts about 15-20 minutes

Let cool for 10 minutes and then enjoy.

*Just a few things, I tend to cook by eye so many of the measurements were guessing if I’m being completely honest…use your best judgment, taste testing frequently. If it doesn’t taste right then well trial and error lol also for my ppl who are not fans of carrots (I’m generally in this grp but surprisingly enjoy white carrots, zucchini is an amazing substitute) thinly slice zucchini and skip boiling. There are soy alternatives for ricotta, I personally chose Kite Hill because it is soy free but you can also make your own ricotta!

Ya know...ppl’s obsession with other ppl’s weight really fascinates me...(not really), it honestly makes me do the deepest internal sigh-roll...yes I said what I said... If I received a dollar for every time, throughout the years, something in regards to my weight was mentioned I could put a down payment on a car...Why don’t ppl say “wow your skin looks great” or, “wow you look happy” more often. (Shout out to those who do, you can stop here if you’re one of them) Lol no, it’s just “you look like you put on some weight” or “oh did you lose weight”? The preoccupation w/ other’s bodies and appearance is mind blowing and utterly pointless when it comes to the big picture. You’re either too thin or putting on weight...In the past, as a person who struggled with my weight, I’d skip meals, try extreme crash diets, use laxatives, literally starve myself...all because of these exact comments and my own insecurity and preoccupation with ppl’s opinions and perceptions of me...I’ve asked myself lately though...Why? Why do ppl feel the need to point something like this out? And what response do they expect? And why does it matter? If I’m happy and healthy shouldn’t that be enough... I think we point out things about others we’re working on or unhappy about within ourselves. Waiting for that person to slip up so we can feel better about ourselves and justified in beating ourselves down over our own self perceived limitations. Looking outside of ourselves for validation, instead of inside with compassion. I also think the issue is, very little ppl know what happiness and healthy look like for them, nor do they realize it’s uniqueness to every individual , we only have what we’ve been told for years to reference... and if you don’t fit into that carbon cutout then the guilt and self loathing flood in leading to the breaking down of others around you to cushion the internal jabs you take at yourself. Happiness and health have no size, thin does not equal healthy, nor does voluptuous mean unhealthy...anywho, my random thoughts as I raise a donut, in route to my mouth, in the air, to those ppl, with compassion and love of course. To being happy and healthy. 🍩

🔑THE KEY TO UNDERSTAND VIBRATION🔑

There is truly no physical. Physical is light vibrating at a certain frequency that matches your impulses, your senses, to have you convey reality into physical matter.

In other words if you don’t have the senses, of what it is to be in a third density physical realm, you don’t have the tools to interpret the vibration then you cannot even see third density. Let alone experience physicality. That’s how magical vibration is. Vibration is everything in your reality. It has its own signature its own tone.

People will walk around saying they are “empaths” that they “feel others pain”. No, you are feeling vibration and translating it as pain. It is not their pain, it is your pain.

Go about your days accept all of your thoughts and pains and don’t do anything about it.

Don’t take the best idea your mind can think of, because that is the worst one. That is the best idea of an ego Self that is the worst of limitation. What you want to do is learn to follow your heart, and trust.

When you perceive nothing around you as a problem, the vibration will take all versions of probable realities around you and change them. It will give you your match. The match will be the worthiness that you currently are. If you shed your unworthiness by choosing your heart, your worthiness returns and your miracles come abound and your reality is Godly once again.

Shed all insecurities and doubts that keep you dark. Shed, shed, shed and how do you do that? You trust and let go. The time may take longer for the things you want in life to show up, but they will show up to show you that you are worth that. That you deserve that. That you can have a life of what you’ve always dreamed of.

You must trust that the world is vibration. You must trust that everything you see is light. You can change your reality by approaching the vibrational Now as light. Then you will start to see the differences of reality. You will feel and you’ll see differences. You may see auras more. Some of you might see different tinges of light during the day that most can’t see. You may not need sunglasses anymore because it’s no longer bright, it is just light.

If you accept everything in your Now, what will be coming next will be more than you could ever fathom.

You can intend to choose what’s available in the Now to you. The difference is the approach, the relationship to it. Intention is choice in the now because you live in time. Hopefulness is a destructor. It only leads to failure and disappointment. Worthiness supersedes everything.

You are born into lack so you must shed lack. Don’t get mad at yourself it’s all you ever knew. You’re taught money success and education are everything. Growing up you are introduced to statuses of finances, education and races. Those are learned as truths. You let go of those truths every time you find yourself challenged. That is a telltale clue that you were leaving a coveting system of beliefs.

Don’t fulfill your Nows with escapism of intention so you can have something to entertain yourself. That is a total vibration that is dark. If you go after things with intention, because you need it, then that vibration smashes the probabilities into an oblivion of only one or two options that have the polarity of getting it or not getting it available to you. Everything you want is already done. It’s the action you take in between in vibration that changes the reality for you. Always.

If you want a different life you must take what is available. Intend something once and then don’t do a thing about it ever, ever, ever, ever until it is presented to you as an exquisite effortless miracle.

Increase your worthiness by choosing your joy. Your worthiness determines what possibilities come to you in the Now. Allow yourself to feel worthy and you will be given more choices in your reality.

Should you intend something? There is intention out of lack and intention out of frequency. Gods don’t choose in time. Gods choose in the Now, but they choose their choices that are available to them in the Now and that is intention. I want that, not that. You can call that choice but intention in most peoples framework is something done in “time “.

Just don’t think about it and it’ll happen by itself. When old beliefs come up pay them no homage and keep going about your Nows and they will deplete because there is no energy vibrating them into life.

Don’t pay attention to insecurities and choose what you love. Then, the only thing that you will get is the equal of that vibration in progression to the available realities that are larger than your mind can think of.

This is a Godly way of explaining intention.

All versions of things change the way they interact with you when you become worthy. All creation is the perfect harmony of what you call immeasurable worthiness. What’s available to you is your own worth.

When you are worthy, opportunities will come from all over. But as soon as they come in, if you start to think about them, and see which one is the best one for you, and start to make choices from an Ego Self mind of using logic, then you’re only going to contain yourself in the current vibration. And you are here to release your current vibration and become more of you, the Whole you, the everlasting vibration.

Don’t care about the details, they will take care of themselves.

It doesn’t matter how you get there because you get what you want when you become worthy.

Everything you want is going to happen, but you can’t make it happen through intention. Intention is effort. You have to become the allower of the Now and see what is there for you.

If you effort for something you are just going to contain it. You are always going to be bound to that containment vibration.

Vibration creates reality. The more you choose your worthiness the darkness will fall away because you’re not holding onto it.

Intention to make your life better is an idea of an approach from an ego Self that is lackfull of the moment so the intention is filled with the vibration of lack. When you intend in the Now, just choose from what’s available to you, you make a choice and put it out among the etherics.

Trust is a door that opens because it allows different ideas to be seen. When you don’t trust, you shut down things that are vibrationally not concurrent or congruent with your mind. You don’t trust, you don’t get. When you trust the Now of the unknown, things will happen on its own. Then of course the trust is it’s own vibration as well that says “ I am an open door”.

Trust the now. Don’t be so quick to translate the new feelings coming in. Don’t equate them to good or bad or purpose or meaning. Let them breathe into you, become the harmony. Let them show you what they are in potential to explore.
