just wanted to say you’re really cool. i don’t know how to explain but you truly immerse yourself in the things you like and you do them and it looks always good. like when i found you you said you didn’t know anything about embroidery but still you did it and it looks amazing and it keeps getting better. then the place where you put your artwork looks really amazing, then the pictures you take of your work. saw you doing an animation of nct, the thing with the scissors. you truly have the gen art in you, thanks for showing us and inspiring us i guess 💕

hello! I have no experience with hand embroidery and was hoping for some advice if that's ok! I want to embroider a simple, medium/large design on the back of my hoodie, which is medium-weight, made of cotton, and has a thin fleece lining. I have embroidery thread and needles but no hoop and no stabiliser. do I need a hoop or can I get away without one (I'm a beginner so I'm not expecting it to be perfect)? and what kind of stabiliser should I find (like tracing paper or regular paper maybe)? <3

tbh u can definitely get away w not using stabiliser !! i never use it for my embroidery so u can trust me on that one :)) if u did want to use it tho, sulky sticky fabric solvy is the go-to in the embroidery community. it’s doesn’t exist where i live lollll so try tracing the design w a pencil, n if marking directly onto the fabric doesn’t work u can try using tracing paper but as a LAST resort

as for using a hoop, i’d recommend using one ! i’ve never tried embroidering w/o one n the thought kinda scares me ahahah. if u rly can’t get one then i suppose u can try doing it freely, just make sure ur fabric it tort in ur hand okk 💞

oh like small planets and stars? or some outlines of a planet and stars? or big planets? 😭 i’m so dumb, i’m even downloading photoshop in my laptop so maybe that would help me a little. they also have an “antarctic” concept so is pretty confusing to know what would be the best :( btw sorry if my asks annoys you a little, i’m shy to go to your dms

i don’t rly know everglow’s concepts but like yeah maybe little stars n planets around the place ? the creative freedom of embroidery gives limitless possibilities on what to fill ur empty space with so feel free to get creative >:))
