When you’ve been in a bad place for so long, it might feel weird to be happy. To be slowly getting better. You might even feel guilty for recovering. But know this: You deserve to. You deserve to heal, to enjoy things you thought you wouldn’t enjoy again. You deserve to grow, to move forward.
pour one out to the neopets we left for dead
Happy Pride Month! I haven’t been open with my sexuality since I’m still discovering it, but I have officially came out as Bi! For so long I’ve struggled with it, gay friends told me their “gaydar” would go off around me. I forced it down for my religion, my mother and pastor grandma. I’m still nervous to tell those close to me, but at least you guys know! 😂 so yup, I can’t deny that girls are a attractive! Hopefully I grow confident and no longer be ashamed or scared to admit it. . PS. I’m single and in the DMV, going to Pride on the 10th in DC if anyone wants to be friends
*swings into your room on a rainbow and throws confetti* happy pride month mother fucker
IT’S THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN
Pride month is coming up, so here’s a reminder that the Stonewall riots (in which trans women of color fought for us to have rights) wasn’t about marriage equality, it was about police brutality.
and that the fight for marriage equality wasn’t about being heteronormative it was about lgbt couples being able to have the same legal rights as straight couples regarding their relationship especially during the aids epidemic. it was so that lgbt people could be with their partners while they died.
For the first time in weeks I’ve started to feel a little more confident in my own skin - and yes these are my pyjamas 💪🌿

144-Year-Old Japanese Pink Wisteria Tree
Covering an area of over 2,000 square meters, this tree has been part of the Ashikaga Flower Park in Japan since 1870. Because of the nature of Wisteria trees spreading, it’s heavy branches are now supported by metal structures allowing tourists to get amazing photo opportunity below its canopy. (Source)
