anyone want to help out ur local confused witch?
can anyone help me interpret these tarot readings? i did the diety tarot spread (originated by @tarotofthekittenofblade) and these are the answers i received:
1. influence - nine of wands - the influence i receive from this diety comes from perserverence, intuition, strength, and pragmatism.
2. personality - six of wands - the personality of this diety is shaped by obstacles, balance, adventure, and acheivement.
3. powers - the hanged man, reversed - the powers that this diety may have are resistance, new perspectives, or their powers may be constrained or stuck in some way.
4. revelations - the fool, reversed - the revelations i would recieve from this diety are those of chaos, interruption from the world, recklessness, or risk.
5. likes - the devil - this diety is drawn to enchantment and charm, instant gratification, and otherwise more negative forces.
6. dislikes - knight of swords - this diety dislikes dependency, assertiveness, thoughtlessness, and sudden change.
to be quite honest, i was going into this reading searching for/expecting signs from odin as i feel really connected to him, but i think this reading really pointed to loki. i was surprised to get three major arcana cards in a row!
i didn't just want to jump in completely and assume it was loki right away, so i also did a quick reading today (i saw this spread done by @melavoids) hoping to reach back out to this diety again and see of they were still around me.
1. who are you? - five of swords - the diety is resentful, conflicted or has been through conflict, or was made to surrender in some way.
2. negative associations - seven of swords - this diety is negatively associated with deception, trickery, and mystery.
3. positive associations - ace of wands - this diety is postively associated with opportunity, initiative, and fertility.
4. what do you rule over? - the tower - this diety rules over chaos, destruction, change, and sudden upheaval.
5. what are you associated with? - eight of swords - this diety may truly be associated with or associates themselves with feeling trapped or restricted, punishment, or being silenced.
does this diety sound like loki to anyone else? or perhaps another diety? i never really expected to connect to Them but i feel like these readings proved me wrong in that regard.
i've been really drawn to the norse pantheon in particular, but if this sounds like anyone outside of that, i'd love to hear what you all think as well!
i'm also pretty new to tarot reading in general, so if you have any feedback on my interpretation/reading overall, let me know!
