i made a post on tumblr talking about how love can seem rude or unkind (not that it should be nor that it usually is). i used the commonly known phrase "tough love" as a warrant for my argument. i may be wrong. i looked up the Greek concordance for "kind"; came up as "χρηστεύομαι," or to be benevolent, or show oneself as useful. interestingly, its root word comes from christos. would it be correct to say that to be kind is to be Christ-like? i think so.

Only God has the right to create, since that is what God by definition means. Circular logic, sure, but I say self-evident truth.
And man, like the devil, can innovate, but what separates man from devil is the capacity to innovate good things. Man's innovations can be good.

Listen, I don't like American Protestant Evangelists either, but borders exist for a reason. Look at the Roman Empire. Unless someone more educated than me gives me contrary evidence, I believe the (Western) Roman Empire fell due to a lack of internal, civil and political stability, and the invasion of barbarians. Gatekeeping is good (in the subject of communities and societies).
About enemies:
There's a difference between a private enemy and a public enemy. Jesus said to love your enemies; those that persecute you (i.e., oppressors). Reconcile with your brother before you go to the temple. Those types of things. These enemies are private enemies in your life, including the government. In war, it is much different. The Sixth Commandment is better translated as "thou shalt not murder" instead of "thou shalt not kill."
