this sounds like an exaggeration but literally i will mention that i'm 10cm taller than someone as a joke about how i can reach a taller shelf at the grocery store or something and the immediate response will almost always be "omg you're tall can you step on me" and i'm being fully serious. i hate it. believe it or not those extra 10cm don't make me want to have sex with every person who is shorter than me and also they don't make me a dom or a top.

has anyone considered that maybe this is sexual harassment? has anyone considered that maybe being taller than you doesn't mean i'm going to act like a futa from porn? has anyone considered that the trans woman might have some dysphoria surrounding height or pressure to be sexually dominant?

The thing about the "trans women are capable of harm" type posts and blogs like transmascvoicesproject is that on a daily basis trans women are told that we are predators, that we are violent, that we have the rape organ, that we solely exist for fetishistic reasons and that makes us dangerous to be around. Society never lets us forget this. Cinema never lets us forget this. Terfs never let us forget this. Political parties on either side of the spectrum never let us forget this. These people post like they live in a world where trans women/transfeminine people are shielded from the consequences of our actions by our identities, but that's a fantasy. We are not only held accountable for our actions, but responses to our mistakes and transgressions are often extremely worse than that of other people. Not to mention, a lot of trans women are lied about, marked rapist/pedophile/abusive by an abusive, transphobic ex, and then isolated and removed from friends groups for the crime of coming out as trans. This is so, so, so common.

We do not need you to remind us we are capable of harm, trust me when I say we fucking know.

it's like people nominally understand that minorities are subject to a lot of additional scrutiny, and like, if you pressed them on it they'd understand it's a lot harder to grow into a healthy well-rounded person under all that extra scrutiny, but if you point out that they're part of that process they're like. well she's a pedophile groomer menace to society [citation needed] we can't just like, NOT stalk her continuously

just like, look at the sheer VOLUME of the evidence. don't think too hard about if any of it actually means she harmed anyone just look at how big the pile is

its geniunely insufferable levels of isolating how every single form of mostly single-issue politically minded blog on here be it about racism or ableism or intersexism or lesbophobia or biphobia or anti-nb sentiment or etc have spent years intentionally curating a space for discussion on here of these things which is intensely hostile to anyone tma and the notion the identity theyre posting about can coexist with transmisogynized identity is treated as completely ridiculous. and youre just not allowed to point it out even when youre in the intersection who is most impacted by the fact the majority of people who characterize themselves as Black Tumblr or Intersex Tumblr or Cripple Tumblr or etc are horrific level transmisogynists because you will be accused of positioning xyz minority as bigots. (theyre allowed to make "you cant transition out of racism/tma posters have an intersexism problem/etc" posts regularly though.)

Landlord update:

I hate landlords so fucking much I cannot express what I wish for them in part because it would be against terms of service

They told the council that all rent increase and eviction notices were "on hold" but they've been submitting responses in the rent tribunal system the entire time, and even if they weren't, all these things are on a count down to court dates anyway. They literally can't be on hold, but they're lying about it anyway. Just calling a pause to the conflict and then continuing to attack us anyway.

We've just received our response for this place in particular and it's multiple times longer and more detailed than anyone else's responses I've seen so far, plus it asks the court to try to find the rent even higher than the original notice. It seems pretty obvious they're trying to target us in particular for organising against their sickening evil bullshit
