Ratthi saying "Who is this?" and SecUnit taking that literally and thinking everyone is uncomfortable because they don't recognize it out of its armor Vs. Ratthi saying "Who is this?" in an endearing "Well look who joined us, you clean up nicely!" way and SecUnit completely missing that social cue so everyone is actually uncomfortable because Ratthi just tried to compliment a construct with, from what they can tell, very little previous social interaction
GIF compilation of most of my CP fan animation (which I realized to be are mostly of their adventures in Nesson-Eloy)

Éowyn, disguised as Dernhelm, among the Riders of Rohan ⚔️
Based on Eugéne Grasset’s “Jeanne chevauchant au milieu des hommes d’armes” (1894)
Jaskier: *dragging a dead body*
Papa vesemir: BARD! What the hell do you think you're doing??
Jaskier: *freezes in panic*
Papa vesemir: lift with your knees and keep your back straight! Stop hunching!
Jaskier: *fixes posture and continues dragging the dead body*
Geralt: *in the background* JASKIER WHO'S BODY IS THAT??
Jaskier: *drags body faster*
When you overhear an interesting conversation and want to listen in but don’t want to be noticed
ghost hunting team that keep a nonbeliever named steve around as an emergency supernatural suppressant
he waits in the car with a walkie talkie while they investigate and if things break bad they call him in. as soon as he enters everything stops floating around/trying to kill the hunters and he rolls his eyes and goes back to the car.
he’s not bluffing. i can’t emphasize that enough. he 100% believes that the hunters calling him in is either a prank, to make him feel useful, or because they’re spookable cowards who panicked when a book fell.
he stays because the money is good and he can play his gameboy in the car.
i fucking love this so much. it’s like having a service animal but instead it’s a guy named steve who owns more cargo shorts than the Gap continuously baffled by why he keeps getting befriended by goths.
Dear @vands38 it’s been two weeks since I asked for Your permission to draw something for Your F1 AU and I am so sorry it took so long! Hope You like the outcome
Also, like halfway through I realised that Jaskier should have a sweater but then the duck print would not be visible... And I will have You know that I loved this idea of his hideous shirt so much that the file is titled "kaczuszki" (which means "ducklings" in Polish so yeah)
Can't stop daydreaming about the setup I'd do for that hobbit larp in Kentucky in the fall. Do I larp? No. But I could put together an absolutely stunning hobbit campsite and have a great time doing so
Edit: it's called the brandywine festival, it's on Kickstarter but it's past the minimum threshold already.
I can't stop building this tent in my brain. I've got the hardware for a foldable bedframe fully spec'd out in my head and I could do such cool things with flame-flicker solar bulbs and paper lanterns. Also I think if I needed to I could make a table that could convert into a cart to transport the heinous amount of stupid stuff I would pack
Again: I'm horrible at role-playing. But I'm excellent at set dressing.
Okay, I have a pair of friends who are willing to do this with me, but we're all in agreement that the tickets are a little out of our budgets for random stuff. So I'm setting myself a goal to fund tickets through art sales in the coming months. I already know I have a buuuunch of takers for minotaurs, but those sort of limited by how quickly I can cast them. We'll take it as given that I will make as many as I am able.
What other smallish projects are you guys interested in? I could make some more eyebalxes; I have several already in progress. I am trying to make a mold for the two-headed calf, though that may require casts in non-ceramic materials like concrete. I was thinking about making butter bells with hobbit doors on top, just for funsies.
A test butter bell!
Fabulous!!
“Second breakfast
Is a MUST…
With toast and jam
And tea, I trust?”
.
“Then Elevenses!
Luncheon! Afternoon tea!
With cake of course,
And a spoonful of honey…”

Unfairly adorable ❤❤❤
it is really cool that there is now an official maori word for autism, created with input from autistic maoris, and it was specifically coined to be nonjudgmental
quote from article:
“In my experience, people with autism tend to have their own timing, spacing, pacing and life-rhythm, so I interpreted autism as ‘takiwatanga’, meaning ‘his or her own time and space’,” [Keri Opai] told government-funded Maori Television.
(source)
I’m not crying, you’re crying.
It’s also key to note that the word for disabled in te reo Maori is now whaikaha (to have strength or to be differently able), and at the same time takiwatanga and whaikaha were minted, about 200 words were added that also describe other mental health, addiction, and disability issues.
So now, about 125,000 of the roughly 561,000 Maori people in NZ will be able to effectively describe and discuss autism and so much more in their native language for the benefit of themselves and their loved ones. That is the best thing I’ve heard all day.

A hand-painted tour through Hobbiton:
A tour through the Shire! <33 Find the full comic these are from at this link.
(Sometimes people ask why my little Hobbit comic takes so long to update, and whether I’m dead, etc etc etc. and the answer is: it takes a long time to say anything in old entish, and we never draw anything unless it is worth taking a very long time to draw. The world of Middle Earth is very important to me, and I love how rich and detailed it is— so I love spending a lot of time painting these backgrounds, and trying to capture the feeling of that world. In an age where people are replacing artists with machines, I still really do believe that there are people who care about seeing art that’s made with care.)
Raven Books has acquired actor and musician Joey Batey’s debut novel, It’s Not a Cult. [...] The book will be published in September 2025. Batey added: "This book is my love song to the gods of wild nights, woeful decisions and really rubbish pub bands. I am so grateful to Therese and all the team at Raven Books for bringing It’s Not a Cult to life – I’d be lost without you."
