Do you have some cute romantic Headcanons for our boy Billy?
I'm feeling super fluffy about him today.
(sorry if this is too long, I tend to ramble about our guy)
I love fluffy Billy and will forever hc that when he's is in love, he’s achingly romantic and adorable in his own way (I mean he's Billy, not Dacre, lol, so probably no poetry). I don’t think he’s the obvious romantic, with red roses, fancy dinners, but he shows his feelings for you in more subtle ways
He's intense in general, but at the same time he doesn't show too much of himself, if that makes sense. Doesn't wear his heart on his sleeve at all. You never really know what he's thinking but you catch the little things, the way he looks at you, the tender way he kisses you, the way he makes love to you is softer, wants to please you and watch your face, wants to make sure he's doing a good job
He's desperately protective of you. He wants you close and no one looking at you. You're his. Sometimes it's jealousy you see, but you understand what that means when it comes to Billy. He has this control issue, but really his is just insecure and needs to know you won't leave him. He's super protective of you, like we've talked about before, he would literally burn down the world for you if someone hurt you or looked at you the wrong way
Loves to touch you... almost needy about it. Will put his arm around your shoulder, leaning his forehead against yours, hand on your waist, or holding your hand on your way to class. I think he has issues being touched himself, but when he's in love all he wants to do is touch you and be close. (I think Billy is needy and touch starved, so when he loves you he can't get enough)
He does little "romantic" things, like taking you to his favorite overlook, throwing down a blanket and laying under the stars together, talking about everything and anything. I don't think Billy is much of a planner, as he is a spontaneous romantic. He's more of a let's get out of here and see where to night takes us kind of guy, which with him is always fun and wild, but also can be quiet and intimate
I hc Billy is this great listener, since he doesn't talk about himself too much (intimate stuff), he's quiet a lot, but he's definitely the kind of guy to pay attention to the details about you and remember them, the big stuff, but also the little things... like your fav flower, or what brand of cigarettes you smoke, your fav song, stuff like that
He buys you little things, or finds cool things for you, again spontaneous, like he thought of you when he found the perfect seashell or a shark tooth
Waits by your locker just to kiss you before you go to your next class, even if it means he's late for his
Makes mixtapes for you of his fav songs, stuff that reminds him of you, even if a few of them are a little sappy (Maybe some Journey or Toto on there too, shrugs and treats it like an afterthought, just in case you tease him about it)
Leaves little notes or drawings in your locker, sometimes they'll funny or sexy or sweet. Maybe these little silly drawings he scribbles on your notebook while in class, makes you laugh, which was the whole point, just to see you smile (you have a little collection of these drawings in your drawer at home)
Of course lots of pet names, angel, baby, sweetheart, etc
He's got this soft underbelly and when he moved to Hawkins I think he pushed it down even more, but really after his mom left he hid away that softer part of himself, but I think with the right girl he could start to be vulnerable again, even just a little bit at first.
We never got to see Dacre's wish of Billy being under the stars with his girl... too bad because I think even Dacre knew that Billy has this softness hidden deep, but not so deep that the right girl couldn't touch it, which is what I base my version of Billy around
