As a part of Taste of Iceland in Seattle, Seattle City of Literature hosted the Reykjavik Writing Jam on October 10 with huge success! The night started off with a live performance of the Seattle City of Literature theme song followed by Bragi Ólafsson and Karen Finneyfrock reading stories they wrote featuring a character that the other had created. Both writers kept the audience rapt and were mobbed afterward! After the reading, attendees could create zines of the stories they had just heard, some of which will be sent to Reykjavik. Watch the whole event here!
