Dirt Block (Minecraft cocktail)

Ingredients: 1 ½ oz french vanilla Kahlua 1 ½ oz amaretto Around 3 oz chocolate milk Oreo cookie crumbs

Directions: Mix ingredients in a rocks glass over crushed ice.  Premade chocolate milk is fine, or you can be fancy and make your own with milk and chocolate syrup.  Sprinkle the top with Oreo or other chocolate cookie crumbs.

Enderman (Minecraft cocktail)

Ingredients: 1 ½ oz jager 1 ½ oz white rum 8 oz Coca Cola

Directions: Mix alcoholic ingredients and pour over ice in a highball glass.  Fill (around 8 oz) with Coke. Drink created and photographed by The Drunken Moogle.

Nocturne of Shadow

Happy Halloween! It’s been a while, but we’ve managed to put together a series of recipes based on each of the songs from Ocarina of Time. In honor of today, here’s a horror-themed drink dedicated to transporting you straight to the graveyard:

Ingredients:

Iced black coffee

3 oz. black spiced rum

½ oz. amaretto

Maraschino cherry

Wild hibiscus flower in syrup

Add rum and amaretto to a cocktail glass and fill with chilled coffee. Stir to combine. Stuff a syruped hibiscus flower with a maraschino cherry to get that creepy “Bongo Bongo” look and stab it into place with a (clean) nail or other small, metal stake; add as a garnish.

Ingredients: Ginger Ale Sprite 1.5 oz. gin 1.5 oz. grenadine 1 maraschino cherry

Directions: In a highball glass with ice, fill most of the glass half with Sprite, half with ginger ale, leaving a bit of room at the top.  Mix in a shot of grenadine and a shot of gin.  Place a maraschino cherry on the top and serve.
