Hi there! Just here to tell you that The Last Act has been leaked, so you may want to filter all TADC-related tags if you care about spoilers. The problem seems to be mostly on Twitter for now, but there's always the chance that clips will make it here. Some of the other TADC blogs I follow are also closing inboxes to avoid spoilers.

Heya! I'm aware of the leaks, though I fortunately have not come across any yet. I'm very lucky I left Twitter a few years ago or I probably would have been spoiled.

I have wanted to keep my inbox open until the two weeks that Episode 9 is in cinemas (since I can't go watch it and have to wait until it comes out on Youtube) but I am considering closing them earlier, like next week. I haven't decided when I will close my inbox just yet, but if I get even a single person sending me spoilers for Episode 9, even if it's a fake spoiler, I will close the asks. I will not tolerate being spoiled on my favourite show.

Sorry if I sound a bit rude, I've been a bit stressed lately and I'm quite frustrated by the leaks and the fact I have to stay off almost all of my social media accounts for longer than two weeks just because people might spread spoilers there. It sucks but I can't really do anything about it apart from trying to evade spoilers as much as possible.

wait hear me out-

ok so not to forcefully adopt this idea as an au from @katzebruh or anything (because i'm unreasonably insane about it for some reason, literally a dozen other caine-centric AUs out there that are infinitely more complex and compelling and i picked this one, fuck it dawg we ball) but my headcanon is that caine genuinely was testing out modifiers and accidentally fucked up forever, if i had a nickel- and he's super conflicted about it...

because on one hand... he's a silly cat furry thing now and literally whats not to love? the humans like it and admittedly doing kitty things is really nice sometimes! chin scritches have never felt so good, honestly he would figure out how to get rid of it sooner if everyone wasn't enjoying it so much!

on the other hand... yikes... an unfixable bug? one that screws with his brain? stop me if you've heard this one before-

A while ago, I made a post about how I think its cool that both Rumi and Jinu are string instrument players - another subtle parallel between the two of them.

But what's really fascinating about this is its another example of Rujinu following the old vs new concept as Rumi plays an acoustic guitar, a fairly modern instrument, whereas Jinu plays the bipa, a rather ancient instrument. Even something as simple as their instruments convey how they are canonically soulmates that transcend time itself.

It has been confirmed that that is the reason why their first proper conversation was held at Bukchon Hanok Village. Its literally a place where old meets new, perfect for a man who was born of the past and a woman born of the present.

Even these subtle details give more depth as to how well thought out Rujinu truly is. They were always meant to find each other.

Plus little tangent but I love the idea that they eventually teach each other their respective instruments post canon. This way, Rumi, someone born of the present will learn to play an instrument of the past and Jinu, a man born of the past will learn to play an instrument of the present. It will add that depth to them bonding about the era they reside in through music - something they are both very passionate about.

Quick thing about the AU tags

So it's come to my attention that some people have been tagging fanart and stuff of my AU with the tag 'ctrl+alt+del'.

I just thought I'd let you all know that if you post anything with that tag, I am very unlikely to see it. I don't check that tag mainly because it mixes it with another fandom - the Ctrl+Alt+Del fandom (aka the comic that made loss)

I would prefer it if you all used 'ctrl-alt-del au' or 'ctrl alt del au' for this AU and (if possible) remove the 'ctrl+alt+del' tag from your post if you have it, just so it doesn't invade the other fandom's space. I would appreciate it if you could try and remember not to use + in the tag for my AU or at least try to remember to add 'au' to the end of the tag.

Don't be rude to anyone who does have this tag in their post though. If you need to say something, simply let them know to change it in a nice manner. I don't want anyone being mean to others about this.

The way he's holding them here makes me feel conflicted. Like, this scene is terrifying and I can't imagine what's it like to be on a receiving end of it but... just look at it.

- he's holding Zooble in a way so that their parts don't fall out

- he's not squeezing Gangle so that her fragile ribbons don't get tangled

- he's not putting too much pressure on Ragatha so that she doesn't get ripped apart

- he's only holding Pomni and Jax firmly because their bodies are solid and rubbery

And this scene is right after the torture too. You would think he would be more violent, but no. He wanted to hurt them, not break them.

Caine wanted them to listen. And because they never did, he made them feel what he felt when they poked at his biggest fears and insecurities.

I guess what I meant to say is - even when at his worst, there was still something considerate in him. Something resembling the real him and not the angry monster he'd become.
