and I’d like to say something funny about it but it’s late at night so instead I’m feeling an inordinate amount of feelings about this anime character’s hand gestures and like. he’s 10 here. he doesn’t have any money, he doesn’t have any power, he’s talking to a guy he respects highly and who has all the power in this situation and who holds Seto’s and Mokuba’s lives in his hands, and seconds ago he looked nervous and shy but. he just feels so passionately that Games Are Meaningful and Important that he can’t stay quiet about it even though that’d probably be the smart thing, it has to come out as big sweeping melodramatic gestures because he just can’t contain it in his tiny fricking 10 year old body and
idk, I’m tired and I don’t really know where I’m going with this, but I think it’s something along the lines of…he doesn’t do all that Extra shit because he knows he has the money and influence to back it up, he was pulling this kind of thing years before he had a dragon-shaped personal jet to backflip into or whatever, he just…genuinely feels things that strongly. and sometimes u just gotta express your feelings by springing dramatically to ur feet or twisting your hand into positions that should probably break your fingers
