I am having thoughts and instead of letting them stay in my head I am sharing them. I keep thinking back and trying to figure out when our relationship took a turning point. I keep going back to when we moved to crouse and I lost my job. But that couldnt been it because he still proposed to me after that. So as I ponder further it was when he lost his job. Which was his own fault he bad mouthed some people and they let him go. But after that is when his jokes turned into making fun of me and the boys. It was when everything I did was wrong. That's when everything we always done was now a problem. I still remember constantly asking him to stop saying things. He would tell me he would, but never did. I think that if it hadn't been for the boys and the hope that he would change I dont think I would have went through with the marriage. I was the only person those boys had fighting on their side. I kept hoping that once we got caught up with Bill's things would get better. I offered to find a job, but with his schedule it was hard. I'm laying in the dark trying to not let these nightmares that woke me from dead sleep effect my heart I sit up from my sleep and try my hardest not to weep as my biggest fears come rushing at full speed They paralyze me and I feel like if I move I will be overcome with all the grief of my 29 years all at once The thought of pain from my past alone makes my heart ache and I cant bear the hidden truth they secretly shake How maybe the pain they cause is deserved and I should lay there and suffer and admit defeat. How I just wish I could get a restful night sleep, but at the hours of 3 and 5 they slowly creep No matter how hard I try to stay strong they pull me in and slowly from my eyes I feel the tears as they fall. I had to say goodbye to my baby today. Poor thing her body couldnt keep fighting any longer. I want to thank the staff at Vale Veterinary Hospital. They went above and beyond to help me keep her fighting for as long as she could. I will miss her being by my bedside. I will miss coming home and her lighting up to see me come in the room.
