I’m taking portrait commissions!

Hello guys~ I’m taking worldwide portrait commisons of people and pets! I’m Katha and my biggest dream is to study abroad in Japan and despite the fact that corona is going on, I am now able to fulfill this dream. After studying for hours and hours for years, sacrificing time with friends to reach my goal, giving all my heart into my studies, I am accepted at an university in Tokyo and I’ll move there next year in spring. Sadly, my work place is suffering from the crisis and I won’t be able to get my monthly income, I was able to get with this job, anymore. I’m usually active on instagram and twitter, but a friend recommended me to also do a tumblr post about my commissions and my art, and that’s what I’m doing now. I offer portraits in only pencil style or pencil with watercolor. As you can see in the example pictures I’m also doing animals (my instagram is mainly for fanart, that’s why there are no animal pictures at all).

If you are interested please read my information down below, it is really important :) What I do: people (celebrities and private people), animals (only animals with fur), people with animals What I don’t do: nude, sexual content, animals without fur (like elephants, insects, lizards, etc.)

Extras you can add: gold or copper highlights, other motives in the background (hearts, flowers, etc.), fonts

What is my style like? I’m mainly using pencils for the portrait drawings. When I use watercolor, I mix my pencil style with areas of color. I especially like to use indigo and red! To give my drawings that special extra, I love to use gold or copper. Prices: my prices differ from drawing to drawing, but in general I have fixed prices (please note that if I can tell from the start that a drawing will take me a lot more time than my prices are covering, I’ll tell you this and give you information about the higher price (but in advance as soon as I see the reference))

Pencil portrait prices: A4: 80€, A5: 50€

Watercolor pencil portrait: 19x24cm on 140lbs: 60€, 24x32cm on 140lbs: 85€

Pet watercolor pencil portrait: 19x24cm on 140lbs: 70€, 24x32cm on 140lbs: 100€

K-Pop portrait prices: A4: 70€, A5: 45€, watercolor pencil 19x24cm: 50€, watercolor pencil 24x32cm: 70€

Additional pets and humans: depens on size and amount (varies between 25€ and 30€)

Extras: depends on which extra

Payment:

via paypal or bank account

First half of the price upfront, rest of the payment after I’m finished with the drawing Contacting methods:

How does my commission system work? You write me a message with what you would like to have and if there are specific wishes. Together, we will talk about it, so I can make sure that I’m drawing it like you imagine. If you don’t want a pencil portrait, but rather something with pencil and watercolor to make your portrait even more special, we will also talk about the possibilities we have with the reference, talk about color and if I’ll add any gold or copper. When all these things are figured out, you’ll do the first payment. I’ll start drawing when the first payment is on my bank account/paypal account and I’ll always make sure to update you on the process (so you have a chance to say if it is not how you want it to be or if I should change something). When the drawing is finished, you’ll send me the rest of the money + shipping costs. As soon as I have the money, I’ll send away your drawing!

Important! These are physical artworks, which means I’ll send the original art to you by post. In order to do that I’ll need your address, if you are not alright with that and just want to have a picture of the commission and/or scan please tell me in advice so we can figure out the pricing.

Also note: If you are wondering why my K-Pop commissions are a bit cheaper than the private people ones, heres your answer: I can use K-Pop art to promote my instagram account, it is easier for me to draw idols than private people, I can’t use private peoples commissions for my promotion (which is why here aren’t any - sorry but I am not allowed to show them)
