Gyokuen's True Identity
Lately I've been reading theories about Gyokuen's Identity since the Alma Toran Arc started.... Even me I get curious about her true identity.... Is she really Sheba? or Arba?...So I gather all the information about this...
1) Divine Staff
- A lot of people notice the similarity of the Divine Staff of Sheba, Gyokuen, and the evil/corrupted magi. Obviously Gyokuen is the Corrupted Magi. They both holding a Cresent-like staff. Asides from the staff, there's nothing more.....Wait! the yandere eye?!? hmmph..
2) Similar Appearance
-Another one is that Gyokuen Ren is Aba because of their similar apperance and both of them know Solomon very well. They both also have strong personality. If she's Gyokuen, I guess, she had a grudge or jealous to Solomon since Arba is a slave and he's a prince though they are best of friends. Arba also fear that Solomon will be like David someday. About the staff, she maybe killed Sheba or stole her staff.
3) Re-incarnation
-There's also a theory that Gyokuen is really not the present Gyokuen. One blogger said that the real Gyokuen is been assassinated too and replaced by someone else...a clone, like what Sheherazade did to herself. That's why the current Gyokuen is evil and mean and not the sweet and caring mother Hakuryuu always think and the mole on her face.
4) Mind taking over the body
-Another theory is that Gyokuen's body was taken over by Sheba's mind. Remember that Sheba used to work for David and she might forget it until something bad thing happened to her which cause her mind remember everything. Also that, according to the manga, she and Al Thamen changed into “beings formed only by thoughts” to come to this world.
5) Promise
-Remember the chapter wherein Arba asked help from Sheba to be Solomon's support and wife? Arba said that she will be with Solomon if he needs to be feroucius and brutal while Sheba will support Solomon when he's on the verge of breaking down. If that so, Arba is the black rukh magi aka Gyokuen Ren.
5) Another Magician
-After reading Magi 229, I also think Falan could be Gyokuen. Falan's son Tess was killed by David because of Solomon's plan. She will think that Solomon killed her son and not David. Asides from that her hair is tied up into two loops like Gyokuen's braids. Why not?

those were all the information I get from different bloggers and site and my own idea about their theory. Most probably it's Sheba who is Gyokuen. But we still don't know until the arc ends.
