     fingers snap in thought, as if the gesture might actually jog her memory. what was this guy’s name again ?? red... the one with the bird... she’s heard his name come up. moxxi and her spent quite a bit of time talking about her past love affairs. it was their idea of girl time, after all. hell, she was sure she’s seen him face-to-face back when moxxi and him had something going. but now she was drawing perfect blanks.

he’s staring stormily into his beer, the atmosphere of moxxi’s passing over him like a dark cloud. he’d failed. for the first time in almost 50 years, he’d failed to kill a target, and he was pretty worse for wear for it. a deep cut was healing along the top of his head, from forehead to the crown of his head. 

his target had almost killed him. how humiliating. blue eyes narrow - he fucking hated vault hunters. 

     -- it was the FURTHEST thing from new to see someone at the bar having a bad mood. you could read it on their face. o’, the way they frowned at their drinks and remained blind to the world around them. everything happening outside of their head. it was a more rare occurrence if they smiled gleefully.
