just because i’m in highschool that doesn’t mean i have my own problems to deal with. it doesn’t mean i can’t have a complex love life and social life. it doesn’t mean i can’t explore my identity and then confirm who i want to be, im not “too young” for it. it doesn’t mean i can’t have bad mental health and have midlife crisis. it doesn’t mean i can’t stress over school because “it’s not even that difficult”. just because i’m in highschool and a teen, does not mean my life is perfect and that nothing will be difficult till i hit 18. things have changed, so it won’t always be the same experience as you had when you were young like us. so just validate our feelings and struggles, instead of putting us down, because how does that help us?
