I didn't even realize how used I was in my last relationship until years after the fact. He played me so hard for his own purposes, made me feel loved but never actually gave anything. Kissed me, touched me, promised me love and a relationship to keep me there but it was all for his gratification. He broke my heart with his stories of suffering from abuse and neglect, playing the victim card about how his past girlfriends cheated on him but he never broke up with them because he never wanted to leave a girl like how his dad left him. He would break his promises and beg for forgiveness. He'd make me feel bad for making him upset. I don't know if that's how he gets girls to break up with him, to use them to the point where they want out so he can play the victim card but it worked. He said "I love you, I'll talk to you later". I called and texted him for the next 2 weeks with no answer, I asked his brother to find out what the deal is and he blocked me in response. So I emailed him, I told him if he didn't answer me in the next week we were done. No answer. 3 years later I'm the happiest I've ever been. Engaged to a man who has never let me down, has stayed with me at my lowest points, helped me through upsets, supports my decisions and just plain loves me through and through. Don't stay in half hearted bullshit "relationships". Deserving a man or women that respects you, loves you, treats you like a queen/king etc isn't a cliché. YOU DESERVE LOVE AND RESPECT. DON'T ACCEPT ANYTHING LESS
