Ok but genuinely, I really enjoy the Lucretia and Taako conversation after the day of Story and Song. The way Taako approaches her first, her hesitation at reaching out to him, his revelation that she’s been living with this guilt that he’s only just starting to feel the whole time? The fact that he states he gets it, even if he’s not ready to forgive? And how she accepts that??

It’s such an interesting look into their relationship post Story and Song and I’m so happy it was expanded on in the graphic novel

Listening to Taz Balance and GOD there is so much unintended foreshadowing. When they get the philosopher's stone out of Magnus, Kerry starts getting enthralled by it, and Magnus' first instinct is to huck it to Davenport. Almost like subconsciously, he knew Davenport as one of his party, some part of him able to resist the thrall. It's crazy that something so thematically appropriate happened due to absolutely mundane dumb choices from a player who didn’t think any of that at all

im relistening to taz balance and this might be old news but i haven't seen this brought up before

in the cave where they find the umbrastaff, clint is trying out character voices and does one as he says he's going to check out the staff, to which justin replies (as taako) "no, that won't do"

and then when lup is freed at the very end of the campaign, griffin narrates her thinking "no, that won't do" wrt merle getting the umbrastaff

i have no idea if this was intentional on griffin's part, but in either case, its such a wild bit of narrative through-line. each twin using the exact same phrase ("no, that won't do") at almost the same time about the same character

she could have just been the journal keeper she could have had a simple straightforward title or role like the other birds but no she’s lonely too. it’s so important that she is lonely. she’s been lonely forever. and I’m fine it’s fine i’m feeling so fucking normal about it
