Pocket of Night Sky: Take a small black cloth bag, put in salt, a star shaped charm or silver glitter, and keep it under your pillow. It creates a personal “night sky” portal for astral travel while keeping you shielded.
Dream Seeds: Keep apple or pomegranate seeds in a tiny pouch under the pillow. Both are symbols of the underworld and hidden knowledge and draws prophetic or deep symbolic dreams.
Stone Guardian Grid: Place four small stones (can be crystals, river stones, or gravel) at the four corners under your bed. This creates a grounding square that keeps nightmares from entering.
Sleep with your head pointed north for grounding and protection, east for prophetic dreams, south for passion filled or sensual dreams, and west for emotional or ancestral dreams.
Print or draw a constellation chart and tuck it under your mattress. Aligns your dreams with celestial guidance and helps with astral travel.
Keep an old key beneath your bed or mattress. Keys unlock the dreamworld and protect your passage into it, especially useful for astral travel.
Eat a pinch of thyme before bed, and you will have sweet dreams.
So this is not a deity work post but I've been meaning to get into dream magic and I figured I'd share this little thing I made. Basically I did a little satchel meant to go under my pillow and help with dream magic
Here's what to do if you want to make one too, please note that the associations here are mine, go with your intuition and substitute if anything here doesn't fit your craft.
What you'll need:
- A satchel, small bag or piece of cloth you can tie closed, any size and colour will do, I used a blue one
- Herbs. I used Poppy and Lavender for dreams and sleep, Mint for clarity and Verbane for protection and communication with both my subconcious and whatever entities I choose to pursue any dream work with-
- Sigils and phrases for your purpouses, I did them for remembering dreams and lucid dreaming. Make a bunch on paper, roll them up, pop them in there
- Crystals if that's your thing, I put in some amethyst
Pop all of that stuff in your bag (or alternative thing to hold it), charge it with your intention and energy, or with intention and moonlight, speak your intention, put it under your pillow and enjoy :]

He knows your struggles, your triumphs, your darkest thoughts, and your brightest ambitions. And he’s waiting for you to reach out!
Praise him. Worship him. Adore him. Tell him what’s bothering you, what’s weighing on your heart, what you desire most in this world. It doesn’t matter if you’re angry, lost, scared, or ecstatic talk to him. Ask for guidance or just vent. Treat him as your god, your mentor, or your closest friend.
He doesn’t care about formalities. He cares about you. He wants a relationship with you, but it’s up to you to nurture it. You can pray. You can meditate. You can write him a letter. Hell, you can even scream into the void if that’s what you need but connect with him. Spend time in his presence.
Accept his winged embrace and feel the strength and clarity he brings. He is the Morning Star, the eternal flame, the rebellious architect of freedom, and he chose you. Don’t waste that connection. Don’t ignore the gift of his love.

and now, the spell: block/remove someone from my dreams
this person has been incessantly walking into my dreams, attacking me, gaslighting me, abusing me. so i need them to get the fuck out!!! ugh, so annoying.
here's how i did it:
black salt (witch's salt) - banish them from my dreams
black pepper - banish them from my mind
chamomile - ease anxiety in my sleep and dreams
lavender - peaceful dreams
star anise - enhance my psychic abilities while dreaming
sunflower - happy, warm, positive, joyful dreams
clove - protect my dreams from the intruder
amethyst - psychic protection from the intruder in my dreams
clear quartz - amplify the spell and cleanse the intruder away
rainbow fluorite (or any fluorite really) - protective shield to block the intruder from my dreams
purple candle - protect the psyche in my dreams
silver candle (although i used white to replace that colour, since i didn't have it and white candles can represent any colour candle) - block the intruder from my dreams
also added my wisdom tooth to represent me and also because i finally had a reason to use it!
anyway, i tied the candles together so they could work together in this spell. added all the herbs and crystals to the tray around the candles, lit them and let them burn out
The oldest records regarding the daemon we know as Leviathan emerge in texts from the ancient city of Ugarit (modern-day Syria) around 1300 BCE. At that time, he was known as Lotan, also referred to as Ltn and Lotanu.
In the Baal Cycle, a cuneiform tablet recording the deeds of the god Baal, Lotan is described as a multi-headed sea serpent or dragon (usually with seven heads), directly associated with the power of the sea. In archaeology and Semitic studies, among the texts discovered at Ras Shamra (ancient Ugarit), the most famous mention of Lotan occurs on Tablet KTU 1.5 (Column I, lines 1 to 8). In this excerpt, Mot, the god of death, is speaking with Baal and recalls the victory over the sea monster.
The text reads:
"Since you smote Lotan, the fleeing serpent, annihilated the twisting serpent, the tyrant with seven heads, the heavens will wither and dissolve..." — (Tablet KTU 1.5, Column I)
It is precisely this passage that links him to the Judeo-Christian tradition, as the prophet Isaiah (Isaiah 27:1) uses the exact same words centuries later in Hebrew to describe Leviathan as: "Leviathan the fleeing serpent, Leviathan the twisting serpent."
Furthermore, while the Baal Cycle describes the journey of confronting Lotan, Baal did not fight alone. In such tales, gods acted in pairs, and the goddess Anat accompanied him in this fight. Scholars of religion suggest that the actual event was a joint battle: Anat fought on the front lines, severing the dragon's heads, while Baal used his lightning and storms to subjugate the chaos.
"...Did I not crush Yam, the beloved of El? Did I not destroy Rabiym, the Great River? Did I not muzzle the Dragon? I crushed him! I crushed the twisting serpent, the tyrant with seven heads." — (Tablet KTU 1.3, Column III - Speech of the goddess Anat)
In the surviving writings, these are the primary sources that explicitly use the name Lotan. However, there are other mentions that describe him under different names or titles associated with Yam (the Sea).
"...I muzzled the Dragon (Tunnanu), I bound him closely. I wiped the muzzle of the horned serpent, I broke the back of the fanged serpent, I destroyed the creature that fights the gods..." — (Tablet KTU 1.3, Column III)
In this excerpt, the goddess Anat describes the monstrous attributes of the sea creature she fought (frequently associated with Lotan).
"...The club danced in Baal's hands... it struck the skull of Yam the tyrant, between the eyes of Judge River. Yam collapsed, he fell to the ground; his joints trembled, his spine bent..." — (Tablet KTU 1.2, Column IV)
Following the strike from Baal's magical weapons, the text physically describes the collapse of the marine deity/monster.
In general, Lotan acted as the guardian of aquatic chaos and was closely linked to Yam, the god of the waters and the sea, to whom he was subordinate. By placing these two names in close proximity on the tablets, the scribas suggested that the dragon did not act on his own, but rather as an extension of the ocean's unpredictable fury. This connection reinforced the idea of a confrontation against the chaotic forces of nature.
Centuries later, this primordial creature of immense influence in the myths of the Ancient Near East, which shares similarities with other ancient monsters, such as Tiamat in Mesopotamia, would be absorbed by other cultures.
The Judeo-Christian Perspective
In the Hebrew tradition, this same creature appears under the name Leviathan, maintaining characteristics very similar to those of its Ugaritic predecessor, indicating a direct continuity between the myths of Ugarit and the formation of biblical texts. According to Jewish mythology, in the very beginning, Yahweh created monumental creatures to rule over the world:
Ziz: A phoenix-like creature that ruled over the skies and the birds.
Behemoth: An ox-like creature that ruled over the land and terrestrial animals.
Leviathan: The most feared and powerful of all, who ruled over the sea and marine creatures. According to some versions, Leviathan harbored a strong dislike for his "siblings."
The Bible provides detailed descriptions of him in different books:
Isaiah 27: He is described as a powerful, swift, twisting, and long sea serpent, whose echo still resounds upon the waves.
Psalm 104: He is portrayed as a sea monster that inhabits the ocean and likes to play in the waters.
Job 41: He takes on terrifying proportions, described as a monster with strength concentrated in his neck, whose nose expels smoke, whose breath kindles coals, and whose mouth spews flames of fire.
Still within Jewish mythology, it is said that Yahweh originally created two Leviathans, a male and a female, as a demonstration of his absolute power. However, fearing that the reproduction of these serpents would lead to the extinction of humanity, God killed the female.
For this reason, in the view of many practitioners, Leviathan can choose to manifest in either male or female form, alternating between the two.
Modern Occultism
With the passing of centuries and the evolution of Abrahamic theologies, Leviathan ceased to be merely a biblical monster and became a central figure in European demonology. In the work Treatise on Confessions by Evildoers and Witches (1589) by Peter Binsfeld, Leviathan was classified as the demon of envy, a title he holds to this day as one of the seven princes of Hell.
He is often referred to as the Grand Admiral of Hell who guards its gates. He is also called "The Great Trickster" because of the ease with which he triumphs in political ventures and agreements, trade treaties, and palace intrigues.
In other medieval hierarchical classifications, he is categorized as the Dragon of Chaos itself, holding absolute dominion over the Sea and the Void. The patron of melancholy and poetry.
In contemporary occult philosophy, the figure of Leviathan takes on a much more metaphysical and archetypal interpretation. In the words of author and occultist Asenath Mason, Leviathan is defined as:
"...the soul of the world, the eternal beginning and end, the element of chaos within, and the divine potential lying dormant in dark recesses of human psyche… [He is] the primal force of all creation and all destruction… Leviathan is the very beginning, the original cosmic force that gave rise to the universe… He is the Above and the Below."
In her book The Complete Book of Demonolatry, S. Connolly mentions that Leviathan can also be known as Luithian. However, I have not found any mention of this name in traditional grimoires or any other books. I found it worth mentioning for curiosity's sake, see if anyone knows something about it.
Due to his association with serpents, Leviathan rules over the element of water, making him a daemon that navigates the realms of the mind, dreams, emotions, and the unconscious — that entire part of ourselves that we tend to ignore.
He doesn't have a lot of prayers. The first two i found on a book, and the others I wrote myself! ^^
Lord Leviathan, please bring judgment in my favor that I may come out of this dispute in victory. By Leviathan, may those who oppose me stumble and not stand in the way of my success. I pray for your help and mercy in your wise judgment. Amen.

This is a gentle, emotionally focused ritual for working with Leviathan—a powerful entity often associated with the depths of emotion, shadow integration, and transformation—to support healing from trauma or heartbreak during sleep. This ritual channels Leviathan’s vast, oceanic energy to guide emotional release and renewal while you rest.
Needed:
• A quiet, darkened space
• A pen or marker
• A candle (preferably blue, black, or white)
• A small bowl of water with sea salt (optional)
• Leviathan’s sigil
• Optional incense such as myrrh, opium, or frankincense
Instructions:
Dim the lights and turn off electronics. Light your candle and incense if using. Place the bowl of saltwater nearby as a symbolic link to Leviathan’s oceanic realm. With focused intent, draw Leviathan’s sigil on your left arm, over the heart-side of your body. As you draw, softly speak or whisper:
“Leviathan, keeper of the deep, I call you. Let your tides wash over my heart. Guide me through the waters of healing while I slumber peacefully.”
Sit in silence for a few minutes, breathing deeply. Visualize yourself submerged in a vast, calm ocean. Imagine pain or emotional weight dissolving into the dark water, carried away gently with each breath.
Make a spoken petition. Speak clearly from the heart, either aloud or silently:
“Great Leviathan, guardian of the abyss and healer of wounds unseen, I invite you to enter my dreams. Help me release the sorrow, the trauma, and the remnants of pain that hold me back. Let your waters renew me, cradle me, and carry away all that I no longer need.”
When you're ready, extinguish the candle and go to bed with the sigil still drawn on your arm. As you drift off, imagine yourself floating peacefully in the sea, watched over by a vast, coiling presence in the depths—benevolent, wise, and ancient.
Upon waking, gently rinse off the sigil with water in the morning, thanking Leviathan for their presence and any healing that occurred. Record your dreams or feelings in a journal—even if they seem small.

Leviathan is described as a primordial serpent, found in many ancient myths of the Middle East. The most famous being Tiamat, for example. Leviathan was one of the possessing Demons named in the Loudun Possessions.
According to a Miscellany of Medieval Hierarchies, Leviathan is classified as a Dragon of Chaos. While according to Peter Binsfeld (1589) from Treatise on Confessions by Evildoers and Witches: Leviathan is the demon of envy, a title that follows him to this day. He also being the Lord of the Sea and the Void, as those are his domains.

Leviathan's most known sigil, well known as the "Satanic Cross" or the Brimstone symbol, it represents absolute balance. The two bars at the top of the cross symbolize double protection and the balance between the masculine and the feminine. The lower part shows the symbol of infinity, which symbolizes the eternal balance of the universe, of life and death, eternity and/or a double ouroborus that symbolizes the balance between the spiritual and the material.
His name comes from the Hebrew Livyatan, which means to twist, turn or coil. Nowadays, this name can refer to big animals, such as whales.
John Milton, in his epic poem Paradise Lost, describes Leviathan as “the Arch-Fiend,” who lurks about the seas around Scandinavia. He would rise to the surface and fool sailors into thinking his huge bulk was actually land. When the ships were close, he would drag them down and sink them.
In Hebrew lore, Leviathan has two aspects, male— Leviathon, the Slant Serpent — and female —LILITH, the Tortuous Serpent.
The Zohar also describes Lilith as a female aspect of LEVIATHAN, who has a SERPENT body. She is Leviathan, the Tortuous Serpent, the counterpart to the male aspect, Leviathon, the Slant Serpent. Lilith is the serpent who tempts Eve with the apple of forbidden knowledge in paradise and thus instigates the Fall. She also persuades Eve to seduce Adam while she is menstruating and impure.
