How is a friendship between an ENFP girl and a ISTJ guy? and how do you know if they are best friends?

in my opinion this is a bit of an unexpected relationship, but anyone can be friends with anyone! these two can balance each other out in just how opposite they tend to be. the enfp’s whimsical personality may drag the istj out of his normal meticulous way of living and inspire him to live a little more adventurously, and the istj may ground the enfp and inspire her not to half-ass projects and to actually get her work done.

as for knowing if they’re best friends, i’m not sure there’s any sign to look for. are they with each other frequently? do they seem to be particularly close with each other? how long have they been friends?
