There's something so special about being able to fall asleep to a tv that is one thing without fail will put me into a lull. What is it that is so hypnotizing about this magic picture box that throws me as an ape into the perfect slumber. Being the first guy to be able to fall asleep to a TV must've been so wonderful

#I imagine falling asleep to radio news was pretty good too #it's like those people putting on podcasts to sleep #the ambient light from a tv weirdly hits for me #it's like my own soothing nightlight #like something about tv will always be a special happy screen to me #she's so innocent compared to the evils of my phone #but when I use my phone for tv activities it hits the same zonk button #but it has to be long form content

making collars out of memories. the fur on this collar was a groundhog we harvested in west virginia. i tanned it and added it to a modified hound collar to commemorate our first hunt.

2025 was Flynn's 10th year with me! Where does the time go?! I've been taking photos of him ever since he arrived in late Feb of 2015. That 1st year, pics were a bit patchy, due to his behaviour/health problems was but since Jan 2016 Flynn's been the focus of my "52 Weeks for Dogs" group project over on Flickr (one photo a week of the same dog, every week of the year)... that's a lot of pictures!

Anyway, I like going through old photos, so over the next 12 days, I'm going to upload pics from each month. Pics on each post will go in order - starting in 2015 (if I have one for that month!), or 2016 if not, up to 2025. I'll queue them to post 1 month a day... tagged #decade
