cordelia cupp trackpad painting. light a candle for the patron saint of being so competent that people let you talk about birds when basically irrelevant
Holy shit this is amazing you're so talented and skilled
Finished watching the residence on Netflix the other day and all I got to say is I need an entire Cordelia Cupp tv series with each season being it's own mystery thank you.
Cordelia is such a fun and entertaining main character, probably the best I've seen in a long while. Each line and every second of screen time oozes personality. No small thanks to her actress Uzo Aduba.
Some reviews I've seen claimed that the show was too long or that it should've been a movie, while I respect their opinion I also think it's wrong and stupid. This is not a case of "Netflix why did you make this documentary a mini series when it clearly wasn't meant to be".
I like the time we get with each of the characters. Each episode centered mainly on a suspect, or "person of interest" as Cordelia Cupp would say. And the time spent on the cast fleshes them out in a way that they no longer feel like pieces on a clue board. During the finale, I was on the edge of my seat, not just hoping for the answer, but hoping that the answer wasn't a set of two characters I desperately wanted to have a happy ending. And my feeling for them was mostly thanks to one scene, a scene that probably would've been cut if this was a movie.
Anyway, if you are interested in murder mysteries, great characters, even greater acting, and a bird loving female detective then check out the Residence on Netflix.
Just finished The Residence, and it was AMAZING. BUT. I'm dying to know what is the DEAL with the calligrapher?? Why can he only write gibberish?? And does Doumbe have AMNESIA and are we just gonna... MOVE ON from that?? And Elsyie definitely killed a man, just, y'know. Earlier. And how does Cordelia find a sparrow in a tree on the other end of the White House lawn AT ELEVEN PM ok you know what scratch that last one Cordelia I love you, you can lie all you want about birds let's go. We'll blame Teddy Roosevelt.
I'M DESPERATE for answers about the cartographer. I think its great that so much random shit is going on in the background. It shows how laser focused Cordelia is to filter out anything that isn't relevant. I am no different from the yelly guy or the secret service agent who loves Kylie minogue

Okay, so if we give Duke Thomas a Super, do they have to be the same age? Because if we're headed to Metropolis, there's a guy with an S on his chest that doesn't have any powers. Super smart, owns his own company, has a big ol' metal suit, really down to empower the people. Had a notoriously bad movie I still need to watch.
I'm talking about John Henry Irons, or Steel as some of you might know him.
(And no, it's not because he's black. It's because Steel is one of my favorites. Totally not biased though. Quiet you.)
Okay, even if John Henry Irons is too old and busy to be Signal's Super Friend (which is why I'm assuming Black Lightning and Metamorpho don't count), I'd be all over a mini series where he teams up with Natasha Irons to get into some fun/shenanigans in Metropolis. The age gap is closer and I could see the two going back and forth with some friendly roasting. Maybe even prolonged exposure to a metahuman that's been noted to enhance metagene stuff would give her some of the powers she had.
I'm back. I thought the worlds finest Jr. thing was annoying but I'm back now. It's good again
duke thomas should study civil engineering and become like…. a reflection of his hero persona — someone who is protecting gotham in the daylight. his family built gotham’s skyscrapers and now duke is creating a better city for the future
