No but just try and think about the scene when Keith and Shiro reunite. When Keith first sees him, whole and unharmed, and runs to him, throwing his arms around him. The others run up to greet Shiro too, but they stop. Keith’s lips are locked against Shiro’s for a brief moment, and he pulls away quickly, forgetting they’re not alone. There’s a bit of an awkward silence, broken by Shiro addressing the others as if nothing happened. Then, as they walk together, Shiro takes Keith’s hand, and Keith looks up at him with burning red cheeks and an unshakable smile.

I really want to write a Borrowers AU where Shiro moves into an old house and hears weird noises at night, so he sets up a trap, and the next morning, he finds a tiny borrower!Keith cowering inside the container.

Gethsemane by Dry the River fits really well, I’ve noticed. The pining, the belief that their love is over, followed by Keith fiercely defending Shiro. It has a double meaning as well.

I feel like this part applies to both Keith’s unwavering support of Shiro, and the shipping discourse in general; Sheith fans adamantly defending their ship
