Hi, this is Team Rune's blog! we're the dungeon exploration team at the Fossil and Ruin Exploration archaeology guild!

Do you bee run into hostile Pokémon while excavating? Or is it usually safe?

It's usually pretty safe! We sometimes have to travel through mystery dungeons though, that's really the only time we'd have to fight. Sometimes we uncover a dungeon too, but those usually don't have many 'mons in em. Lyte's not a fan of fighting, so me 'n the others usually handle that kinda thing.

sun and LYTE!. What are your plans for the future?

I already achieved my big goal of joining the guild, so I don't have much! Although... I'd really like to be a famous archeologist someday...

Right now I'm focused on getting my memories back.

Right! That's my biggest plan for now, helping Lyte out.

Hi, Togetic! Curious, do you think evolving (and losing your arms) would make excavation harder? Do you plan on staying a togetic? (Completely valid if you do. Togetic are awesome!)

I've certainly thought about evolving again, but I don't think I'll be doing it. Not anytime soon, at least. I'm content how I am, and I can't deny that having hands is useful for my work!

Sable and tally. What do you think of lyte and uh the sandile. I can’t remember there name

It's fun to have new recruits around! Lyte's chill, even if they barely talk, and Sun is like, the sweetest mon I've ever met.

I agree that they're fun to have around! Sable was actually the newest recruit before those two showed up, so I think she likes having someone junior to her.

Anyway, I don't know Team Rune terribly well, but I do enjoy their company on outings!

To Sun: How was your life before Lyte showed up?

It was.... well maybe not normal, but uneventful, I suppose. My mom wasn't the greatest, so I left home to live on my own as soon as I was able. I've lived in this town ever since.

I've been fascinated by fossils and ancient civilizations ever since I went to the museum in Sahra Town as a kid. I've dreamed of joining the guild since it was established a couple years ago, but I only recently worked up the courage.

Another question is earthquake fun to use?

YES!!! I don't get an opportunity to use it very often, though.

Is the move earthquake good or bad when digging?

Bad, generally. Earthquake's not exactly precise, y'know? Don't wanna break anything. What's Tally always saying? "It's delicate work", or something.

Sable! tally! are you team excavation? Or just part of the excavation team?

We're the excavation team, but our official team name is Team Sandstorm!

Lyte - cursed yamask - they/them

A former human who woke up one day as a yamask with no memories of their former life. One half of Team Rune, and one of the most junior apprentices at the guild along with Sun.

Sun - sandile - he/him

A cheerful sandile who's always been interested in archaeology. The other half of Team Rune, along with Lyte.

Tally - togetic - he/they

In charge of excavating. Pretends to be annoyed by his partner Sable's antics, but they're best friends.

Sable - sandslash - she/her

Sable is very enthusiastic about her job. She leaves all the boring precise work to Tally, she just likes to dig.

"You're a human too? But you don't remember much about your human life? What happened before you met your partner? Do you remember anything? Maybe my friends, particularly Hydreigon, the Voice of Life, could help you remember."

Another human... Well, I met Sun pretty much as soon as I woke up, so I don't remember anything before... You say your friend could help me? Are you sure?

Team Rune!! What's your favorite fossil you've ever found? 👀

Sun: Probably this one! It was the first fossil we ever found, on our first ever expedition! Quilava says it's a helix fossil, apparently it used to be a pokemon called omanyte.

How did the two of you meet?

I found Lyte unconscious a little ways away from the town. Did you know they used to be a human? That's all they could remember when they woke up... Anyway, I offered to help em out!

Any interesting ruins you've found recently? I'd be interested to hear about any old writings!

Well, there was that village I mentioned. It was abandoned after a record-breaking sandstorm buried it almost completely. But more recently it was partially dug up and it was discovered that the ruins have become a mystery dungeon!

It was really interesting to explore actually, it's sort of half pokemon-made structures, half natural formations.

We're still pretty new at this, so we haven't found any sort of ancient writings yet... Our guildmaster might know more about that kind of thing though!
