Team 1 MUJI Digitalised Blueprint
This is our complete Service Design Blueprint. We did an analysis on the user experience of MUJI customers and MUJI staff.
We included the emotional state the user feel during the state of each data point on 1 post-it. Pink colour represents happiness, blue colour represents frustration & yellow represents design opportunities.
Starting
For this round, we were given 8 decks of cards to sort it in order. We started by going through each deck 1 at a time and sort it into its page.
OPEN CARD CASE SORTING
Given 8 sets of cards to organized them into similar categories. Same process as before, we read through all the cards and start to group them by their content.
Open Card Sort Activity 2
This time round leveled up and sort up case studies of Emelyn Baker (product designer) portfolio.
Group Reflection
All in all, we learned that it is important to sort your content well so that when the potential client views our portfolio website, it will be easy for them to navigate and view our work. The way we create our website shows our Architecture Information skills which is part of UX design.
Open Card Case Sorting
Given a set of cards, we are to organize the content and think of a header that best suit them. We start off with reading all the cards and group them up in their respective similar content. Since members have different view of how we should sort out the content, each of us state our reason as to why we want to sort it out in that way. After discussing, we came to an agreement of sorting out this way :)
Closed Card Case Sorting
After doing the open card case sorting, we were given headings from the actual creator of the website which we see if it similar to what we wrote in the open card case sorting. We have some headings that were exactly the same as the creator. There were also challenges along the way as some of the actual headings were too specific like “contact” and “resume” which we only had one image that has related information so we decided to put them together.
IDX Case Sorting Activity
This week we learn how to do an open sorting where we organize the content by ourselves and create a header for similar content. Afterward, we were given the actual header the creator of the website did and from there we learn how to do a close sorting.
