Who are you to say that I can’t?Or to get offended that I did, when the words clearly show I’m referring to myself?

Because using that word and referring to yourself is inappropriate. Education in appropriation is very important. Calling yourself that word is offensive and oppressive. We should not use white privilege to stay ignorant to that words meaning and history. We should be respectful and have a standard of these things in our society.

I understand that. My response was more of a sarcastic-don't make something negative when it had no intentions of being negative. The words are just lyrics to a song. But knowing the history behind this word, I didn't expect any less of a reaction.

I couldn't find the proposal, but I think I understand the concept of your blog. And honestly, I love it. I can't say that I am attracted to men though. :/ I definitely find them attractive in the way that inspires how I would like to dress, but not anything more than that.
