Puss rolled his eyes. He thought Goldi was past her criminal ways. Now she was asking him to do another job for her?
"How do I know this is not some scheme you're trying to pull? I mean, really. What kind of fool do you take me for?"
He didn't trust her? …Smart. But she didn't give up so easily.
“Hey now, come on, I'm cutting you in on this deal, ain't I? That means I care about ya! I mean, I coulda just decided to hoard all this treasure to myself,” she reasoned. “But I'm willing to share… on just one condition. Aren't ya even curious about it?”
"Why do I feel like I am going to regret this?" Puss mumbled to himself. In all honesty, it wasn't that he didn't want to help Goldi. After all, they are friends. He just found it hard to believe that after everything they've been through, Goldi still had something like this up her sleeve. "Okay. Fine. Tell me what it is."
starter for @teamfricndship
It was hard to make friends. Most people never seemed willing to look past the feisty, feral criminal to recognize a genuine person beneath. Even less so when she was roaming about with three enormous and very frightening looking bears (which, she was rarely apart from them).
And while she and her family had certainly put to rest most of their grievances with Puss In Boots and his team after defeating Jack Horner together, she wouldn’t assume that automatically made them friends, per se. They’d parted ways almost immediately after, anyway, so it wasn’t like there was really any time to spend bonding. Much less to clearly establish where they really were in terms of their relationships.
Still, though, Puss In Boots was useful as he had ever been. And she had another job for him...
"Listen, Boots, help us pull this off and, I'm tellin' ya, we can all walk away rich..." she told the tabby. He'd like the sound of that, wouldn't he?
"There's just... one little problem," she admitted, being purposefully vague for the moment.

It is perfectly acceptable to just write a starter for me at any time.

While the obvious decision for such a little pup, when the windy weather outside was strong enough to carry around debris, probably would have been to immediately take shelter somewhere, before he'd had a chance to do so, the wind had tossed that stick through the air in just the right way to trigger Perrito's insatiable dog instinct to chase after it.
He'd leapt and caught the stick, but promptly taken a tumble afterwards. It was only when he tried to get up and walk it off that he realized one of his forepaws hurt so much that he actually couldn't walk on it.
Regardless of whether the other had seen the whole thing, the scene of Perrito limping about with a gnawed up stick between his jaws probably painted a relatively clear picture of what had happened either way. Staring at it where he'd dropped it on the ground, now, he realized that a chance to chase and gnaw on it may not have been worth unwittingly getting himself hurt.
"Do you think it's... broken?"
The final word, almost whispered, as if he feared it. He's never broken anything on his body.
The moment Puss saw Perrito limping, he gasped and rushed over to see if he was okay.
"Perrito! What happened?!" Puss held Perrito's paw to examine it. It did look damaged, but Puss was no medical professional. "I hope not, Perrito. We should get you to a vet right away." Puss picked up Perrito, held him in his arms, and began to walk to the nearby town.
"A vet?" he repeated, anxiously.
Oh, no. He had heard such scary things about the vet from his cat friends back at Mama Luna's! (Well, okay, he didn't speak in meows, exactly, but he could still tell that they really didn't like the vet.)
"Is there another way?"
"Perrito, you need to see a medical professional." Puss could tell that Perrito was scared. And who can blame him? It's normal for animals to be afraid of the vet. Puss, on the other hand, has been to a doctor and he wasn't scared. "I know you are scared, but this is for your own good. Besides, I will be with you every step of the way, so you have nothing to worry about."
Perrito whined and cowered in Puss's arms... but he trusted the feline, with his life, even. Even if he was pretty scared right now.
"Okay," he reluctantly conceded, "It's scary, but I trust you, Puss. If you're really sure it'll be okay?"
"It will be because I have your back, amigo." They soon made it to the town's animal hospital. The vet had a cancellation in their schedule, so Puss was able to take in Perrito quickly. After running some tests, the vet determined that Perrito only had a sprain in his ankle. No broken bones. Thus, Perrito needed to rest for a few days. Once they exited the vet, Puss gave Perrito a head pat. "See? That was not so bad, was it?"

The forest was quiet. Well, it had been quiet. Then a bird squawked in alarm somewhere overhead, followed by the sound of rustling branches, a muffled thud, and a very indignant, "Hey!"
A moment later, a red cap popped out from behind a bush.
Wakko straightened up, brushing leaves and twigs from his shirt as though getting lost in the undergrowth was all part of a carefully thought-out plan.
"Okay, so maybe that wasn't a path." He glanced back at the suspiciously dense patch of bushes he'd just emerged from before shrugging. "Looked like a path."
Stuffing his hands into his pockets, he continued down the forest trail, humming to himself as sunlight filtered through the trees above. Every now and then he'd stop to poke at something interesting a strange mushroom, a fallen branch, a particularly shiny rock before immediately getting distracted by something else.
Even though Puss and Kitty offered to go along with Perrito on his stroll to keep him safe, Perrito assured them that he'd be okay by himself. So far, nothing bad has happened. After a while, Perrito thought now would be a good time to head back to town. The only problem was, he didn't know where he was or which path was the way back. Maybe taking a stroll through the forest by himself wasn't a good idea after all. Perrito soon heard something. It sounded like something emerging from the bushes. Curious, Perrito crawled through the bushes and when he emerged, he saw what looked like a dog wearing a blue turtleneck and a red hat.
"Excuse me. Do you know the way out of this forest? I think I'm lost."

The "mutuals only" rule is too strict. I'm sure if there's a specific blog that everyone wants to roleplay with, they should be allowed to wether they follow the blog or not.

Bonus points if you include a topic. ( IE. shipping, roleplaying, ect. )
