An AU in which Draco reflects back onto 6th year when Hermione is the one who is by his side after his fight with Harry. He remembers her hysterical sobs as she did all she could to save his bleeding body. Reflecting on this at the Malfoy Manor, he hesitates when his father asks him to identify Harry Potter.
