I am just copying what teamlockwood said and try to understand,she/he explained so good and briefly.

I’m not going to respond to the “Damon has changed” arguments anymore. Because, no, I don’t think he has. He treats Elena better than the rest and treats others in accordance to how she would judge him for it and that doesn’t mean a lot anymore either (4x10). He would kill any of them and not think twice about it. Tyler’s getting in the way (despite Tyler sacrificing his body time and time again for all of them)? Kill him (4x09). Damon hasn’t changed.

ETA: I’ve decided to stop responding to this argument because it never leads anywhere. Damon fans will never accept that he hasn’t changed because it only matters to them that he treats Elena better.

So any time I get the “Damon’s changed” response to anything critical I say in regards to him, I am going to ignore it in the future (even if the competitive side of me thinks of it as conceding).
