One day while on his way to work, Zal sees young girl, about twelve years old, standing in the middle of the sidewalk and crying. Something about her seemed... off however. When she notices him looking at her she walks closer to him and simply stares at him for a second.

Zal seemed a bit conflicted— He was probably going to be late, but something about this girl told him he could afford the cut in his paycheck. He crouched down a little, getting to her height, trying to seem friendly.
“Hello…” He said slowly. “Uhm, a-are… Are you lost?”
"yyeah.. I-I'm searchinng for my sister" The girl is still crying and thus her words are occasionally broken up by her sobbing. She still seemes rather suprised Zal can see her. Now that she was closer and Zal could see her properly she almost seemed slightly see through
"How come you can.. see me? People usually never see me"
Zal blinked a few times, then tired to rub his eyes. Was his mind playing tricks on him?
“Um… What do you m-mean by that?” He asked, voice cracking. He wasn’t one to believe in supernatural stuff, but this was getting strange. “Most p-people can’t see you?”
