it's world mental health day and it's a personal thing to me. these two women are people who i loved since i was a young kid. after i was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, it made me feel strange and isolated. but i felt more accepting of my disorder after i looked up to them even more. they are advocates and owned up to the abuse and addictions they took part in. so that's my short personal thought about bipolar disorder.

remember that even though you're going through a bad episode, just know that you are not alone and people can reach and touch you unexpectedly.
