I have finally nailed my own lighting/shading style Done as a present for RoxyHana (Furaffinity) as a birthday present and a thank you for featuring my girl Carmine in her wonderful comic! Happy Birthday/(God)Mother's Day/Congrats on going Freelance! Been working on this for a bit for your birthday as a thank you for using my character in your comic and creating so much art of her! I realized you've probably done a couple hundred dollar's worth of work with out asking for anything, and really wanted to give something back! When we were figuring out what her roll would be, we briefly talked aerial silks and thought this would be a cute picture- I hope you like it and thank you again! (I intended to have it fully shaded with a background, thinking your birthday was the 15th , but I like how this turned out and really wanted to get it out on your ACTUAL B-day. I will get it shaded at a later date!) Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

So, I've already started celebrating- considering St. Pat's is on a Sunday of all days! The vector version of the most recent picture of Carmine is mostly done, I'm just tweaking a few things with the shadow and lighting- so it should be up in a day or so- I'm just not good enough to finish right now-  After a  good night with good friends! Mostly posting so people know my page isn't dead! AND WHOOO St.Pat's! Have a great night, a great tomorrow- and always have a great Designated or Uber! Stay safe and have a good one!

I've been stuck working on a more detailed styled piece that is getting progressively more annoying- so I took a break and sketched his up! I should have the full digital version in my usual vector style up soon- so over look any weird angles or proportions for now- they get fixed during vectoring lol

Daydream

Some say shes cold and distant, others that shes taciturn and frank. She is quiet by nature and even tempered. Always off daydreaming, with a  forlorn cloud. She is familiar with the world, but is disassociated with it. With a long lived glaze there is wisdom to her, and sense of comfort. Those who take the time, find empathy and kindness- but also what the others say.

Favorites: Winter, Fresh rain, Hot Coco, Chinese food I’m decently proud of this description for her, I’m not really a writer but felt I did pretty well. I still need to come up with a name for this girl and really can’t decide on one, If you have any suggestions please let me know!

No. Real love shouldn’t hurt. A real love isn’t pain. Its knowing that you are safe. Its knowing that you will get through the hard times. Real love is comfort, caring, and understanding above all things. Someone that really loves you will do everything in their power to make sure they don’t hurt you. They make you smile instead of cry. Don’t keep toxic partners because “you love them” or “there is no one else” You can love again, and you can find real love. This is for both women and men. Emotional abuse is abuse. And anyone is susceptible.

Finally finished this and am very proud of it, I really feel that I'm getting a better grasp of shading and am starting to get much better with vectors in general!

Finally done! I'm super proud how this turned out! I was getting SUPER sick of staring at it, but would let myself work on anything else until it was done.    Hope you guys like it too- I'm moving on to a new girl next, a lovely tattooed but innocent blonde goth girl, should have the sketch up in the next few days!

Beginning sketch of the next piece I'm working on, I'm working on a full scene for this one- and let me tell you- the lineart already looks fantastic. I'm not sure exactly what time of day I'm going for yet, but the little bench she is on will be covered in flowers above a lovely cobble path <3
